Leo: The Firefighter Cat

Alright, seeing that so few people played this, it might be worth writing a review for this. But where to start. Well, first off, the game isn’t actually bad. It’s a children’s game obviously (dah), a bit like a feline Paw Patrol version. Gameplay is therefore kind of simple, missions and locations repeat, no real punishment for any fails (no timers or deaths, but it’s super easy anyway). You put out fires in a kind of 3rd person shooting mode, drive various vehicles or fly helicopters or planes. There are main missions, a few optional side quests and collectables (pinatas) to find. Environment looks a bit empty, but doesn’t really matter I think, because you never spend much time in it. No real cutscenes and so on. Even input tutorials were wrong for my XBox controller sometimes. But my biggest gripe actually was the missing options menu. Yeah, there isn’t one (apart from adjusting overall volume and vibration on/off). Music against effects is much too quiet. No graphics options (e.g. distance rendering is awful), no V-Sync (had to fix the tearing via the Nvidia settings). No sign when the game saves. There isn’t even an exit-button(?), so you had to Alt-Tab out of the game to close it. At least when closing the game it indeed saves, but this was mighty confusing at first. Also the side quests sometimes trigger kind of randomly, making it easy to overlook one or the other. Not to forget, there was a kind of nearly game-breaking bug in a level (the cruise ship), but I could solve it at least (try jumping when the cats don’t follow, and move way around the pool, because the small bridges got some invisible barriers). For a final verdict, in spite of all those nuisances and the kind of rough-around-the-edges/clunky feeling, I’ve got to admit, in the end my experience still was kind of chilling, and the characters are cute. Small children might like it nevertheless as well, so I’m still giving this a very cautious positive rating, just know what you’re getting into. And maybe wait for a sale, because the game can be beaten in a few hours (I actually spent much of my time with searching for those side missions and pinatas, and it still only took me around 5-6 hours to complete).

Wir spielen die Feuerwehrkatze Leo und erledigen verschiedene Aufgaben für unseren Vorgesetzten [h1] Gameplay [/h1] Wir haben eine kleine Open World, die wir frei erkunden können (1 Stadt & später noch eine Insel). Hier können wir neben kleineren Aufgaben wie z.B. Brände löschen oder Katzen aus Autos befreien, auch Pinátas einsammeln. Diese sind die Collectibles des Spiels und jede eingesammelte schaltet Neue Outfits wie Helme oder Wasserpistolen frei. Die Haupt Missionen bekommen wir bei der Feuerwache von unserem Vorgesetzten. Hier müssen wir dann spezifische Aufgaben in kurzen Leveln Abschließen. Auch hier können wir Pinátas einsammeln. Diese Missionen kann man jederzeit wiederholen und wenn man das Spiel durchgespielt hat, kann man danach immer noch die Stadt erkunden und fehlende Collectibles oder neben Missionen lösen [h1] Achievement Schwierigkeit 3/10 [/h1] Es gibt insgesamt 10 Erfolge. Hierfür muss man das Spiel beenden und dabei in allen Hauptmissionen 100% erledigen, das heißt im Prinzip jedes Level Abschließen und alle Pinátas einsammeln. Dann muss man noch alle Nebenmissionen & Pinátas in der Open World finden, einmal einen Unfall mit dem Wasserflugzeug bauen & einen Gegner einfrieren und mit der Axt zerschlagen. Nervig kann es werden wenn einem 1 Collectible fehlt und man sich dumm & dämlich danach sucht, so war es bei mir am Ende [h1] Pro/Contra [/h1] + Familienfreundlich + Kleine Mini Open World zum erkunden + Mehrere Outfits & Fellfarben zum Freischalten + Achievements + XBox 360 Controller Support - Der Grundpreis ist viel zu Hoch - Controller UI zeigt permanent Falsche Tasten an (was hier sehr irritierend ist) - Teilweise ist es etwas Clunky (z.B. sind NPC Fahrzeuge wie Stahl Mauern wenn man dagegen fährt und das passiert relativ oft) [h1] Fazit [/h1] Das Spiel ist eher pure Mittelmäßigkeit und etwas Clunky. Aber es ist ein Familienfreundlicher 3D Plattformer der für jüngere Spieler definitiv interessant sein dürfte & auch Empfehlenswert ist. Also kann ich das Spiel nur Leuten Empfehlen die Kinder haben und ein geeignetes Spiel für diese suchen oder auch Hardcore Achievement Huntern die ein relativ einfaches 100% Spiel für zwischendurch suchen. In questo gioco impersonate Leo, un gatto pompiere alle prime armi nella città di felinocity. Il suo compito è quello sia di affrontare le missioni che il capitano gli da di volta in volta e sia gironzolare per la città (e successivamente) nell'isola, a trovare pericoli da risolvere. Le cosidette missioni secondarie. "Penso di averne mancata una sull'isola." Come ogni buon pompiere, il protagonista è armato di ascia e idrante. Ma più andrà avanti con le missioni e più mezzi e mosse speciali. Mosse speciali che hanno i comandi invertiti, se su schermo vi dice che si attiva con x è y, così al contrario per l'altra. Oltre a salire di rango superando semplicemente le missioni. Non contenti, gli sviluppatori hanno tempestato la città e l'isola di colorate pignatte da distruggere per sbloccare la possibilità di comprare una colorazione delle parti con cui è abbigliato Leo, come il colore della pelliccia fino all'idrante portatile. Il gioco prevede che voi spegnete sia i focolari, che gli "spiriti" che nascono da questi focolari. Oltre a salvare i gatti in trappola e portarli al sicuro. Anche le missioni hanno un numero limitato di pignatte da distruggere e solo se le trovate tutte si potrà dire che la missione è completata al 100%. Alcune di esse si trovano nei dintorni, fuori dell'area della missione. Il gioco è sottotitolato in italiano, ma ha un solo salvataggio automatico. Il problema più grave di questo titolo è la sensazione di giocare ad una beta. Cioè, non solo non c'e un'opzione per uscire dal gioco. Escludendo il menù termina attività di windows. In più, molti oggetti come alberi non vengono urtati dal mezzo o dal protagonista, sia durante le missioni che in alcune parti della città. Per non parlare del pop up molto estremo. Ah, le missioni in ambulanza non hanno il timer, vi basta semplicemente guidare fino a destinazione per prendere i gatti a mo di crazy taxi. Grazie alla grafica semplice ma colorata, vi sembrerà di giocare ai pompieri con i duplo. No, non la merenda. La longevità essendo un sandbox dipende dalla vostra volontà di trovare le pignatte nelle missioni e in città. Merita l'acquisto ? Ni, si se dovete regalarlo questo natale ad un bambino del target dei duplo o volete achievement very easy. No, se volete titoli più complessi o più rifiniti che non danno la sensazione di giocare ad una beta. Io do voto positivo solo per la varietà delle missioni, sono poche quelle ripetute, per l'italiano e per lo sblocco dei mezzi di soccorso come l'ambulanza e il canadair. Peccato per il prezzo anche scontato, un pochino alto e senza neanche una parvenza di incipit iniziale. In poche parole, appena avviate il gioco, vi trovate direttamente davanti al gatto comandante in cui dovete parlarci per avere la prima missione. ^^;

Mich Stört halt sehr, das es keine richtigen Einstellung gibt, nur Lautstärke und Vibration, was soll das in 2024? Spiele aus den 90er hatten mehr Einstellungsmöglichkeiten. Nicht mal die Maus oder Controller Stick Speed kann man anpassen. Auslösung ändern geht auch nicht, nicht einmal die Sprache kann man ändern. Es läuft sogar auf dem Steam Deck, was klasse ist, aber durch die fehlenden Einstellungen, ist es nicht Spielbar, da die Automatische Auflösung auf dem Deck viel zu hoch ist und alle Anzeigen aus dem Bild verschwinden. Außerdem sind die Standard Einstellung für die Stick Geschwindigkeit VIEL ZU LANGSAM. Derzeit gleicht das Spiel noch einer Beta.

Jogo sem alma que mais parece um beta de algo que não foi finalizado. Você não consegue nem abrir um menu para mexer nos gráficos ou sair do jogo, tive que fecha-lo pelo gerenciador de tarefas. Preço absurdo e sinceramente nem em promoção vale, do jeito que está pago no máximo 5 reais, e olhe lá.
