그래픽이 좀 구려서 마음에 안들긴했어도 게임 자체는 밸런스도 나쁘지 않은 것 같고 괜찮아서 하고 있었는데 챕터 3에서 주인공 혼자 싸우는 부분 갑자기 사자랑 보스전 하는데 난이도 확 올라가네요 이거 잡으려고 노가다하고 싶진 않아서 그냥 하차합니다 그리고 번역이 말 자체는 무슨말인지 대충 알겠는데 말투가 너무 이상합니다 영어 번역체가 좀 많네요

Played 150 hours on switch. There are a few things that could be polished up more, but if you like a game that you can spend countless hours grinding and gathering reagents then this is a gem.

I backed this game on Kickstarter and I'm pretty pleased that I did. The story, characters, and music were very enjoyable overall. I also really enjoyed the battle system. The placement of your party members can be crucial for certain fights and the elemental weakness system kept combat fresh and engaging. The dungeons are all very small - usually only a few screens, but I think this is a good thing. It helps the pacing by focusing more on the story and battles and not having the player worry about getting lost. I also liked that the battles were initiated rather than random. On the graphics side, I particularly enjoyed the hand-painted backgrounds in this game. Sure, the character models look low budget (because they are), but the backgrounds are vibrant and beautiful at times. The story's pacing was overall solid and there were some nice twists and turns. I enjoyed the cast and thought they had pretty good chemistry. My main complaint with this game is the English translation makes dialogue awkward or janky. Characters speak in ways that sound unnatural at times and it made the character interactions less engaging. Still, despite the issues with the translation / script, I really enjoyed Legrand Legacy. My completion time was around 30 hours (I played off a physical USB stick I got as a physical reward tier for backing the game). I think it was time well spent and now I'm looking back on the game around 3 years later mostly fondly. I recommend it if you're looking for a solid JRPG experience if you're willing to put up with some low-budget jank here and there and a slightly awkward translation. I'd rank it a 75%. Not absolutely amazing, but definitely worth your time.
