Prices
The United States storefront in every case, so this compares stores and not countries.
Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 3.29/day in the week to Jul 30 → 4.57/day in the week after.
Too few observations to say whether a discount moves this store's chart at all: across the last 30 days Steam · Top Sellers · Poland has just 18 day-to-day chart moves that followed a price cut, against 2,498 that did not. We are publishing the count instead of a direction — 20 is the fewest we will draw a conclusion from, and price collection outside the United States began on 6 August 2026.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 9: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

i just love lego and im a big fan LOTR and THE HOBBIT, soooo why not play the games :D im very happy with them
Ranges from obvious signs where to go and what exactly to do, to head scratching moments of no help from the game and wondering around not having any idea what to do. Its LOTR so its good, its a silly compacted version of the movies and for people who like collectables and other extra content this game as that
Great classic lego game still to this day, i have completely finished the game without any issue except for a small mithril brick that took me a long time to get in mordor.
i like that you can explore all of middle earth
I (like most people born in the late 90s) have a big soft spot for the Lego games of the 6th and 7th gen. Fun and simple collectathon adventures with IPs that appeal to me. Lego Lord of the Rings has one of the better campaigns in a Lego game but does have some issues. The big two I ran into is the spoken audio sounds really compressed. It was just ripped out of the movies and that doesn't really work well here. The second issue though is much more annoying. Going for 100% in this game is a huge pain with all the tiny little bugs in the overworld. How are you gonna have jumping puzzles and not realize the collision boxes are gonna cause players to have to figure out workarounds to do the actual puzzle? How does a block getting moved cause it to shoot up into the sky? The main missions themselves are mostly bug free but once you get to exploring things slowly start to break. It's not happening all the time but enough to be an annoyance and bring this down to a 7/10 for me and lower than some of the other lego games. Still, I do enjoy it and its one of only a few Lord of the Ring games that lets you play through the whole trilogy. Oh and got the 100% achievements but 6 of them were bugged. 4 eventually popped over time and 2 I did have to pop manually. What I thought would be a breeze to 100% ended up being quite annoying.
I like the game and I would recommend it. We had a lot of good time with my son playing it. However, saying that, there are aspects that I absolutely hate about these games in terms of bugs and the number of quirks that you will encounter when playing it. Not seeing things that you should see when you're in local co-op because the camera is just working in such a way that things are impossible to see. Controls at times are playing really bad so you need to try to do things many times before actually getting it right, and it's not because of lack of experience or skill; it's because of bugs. Bugs that you can find when things do not trigger as they should and you need to restart the level. In essence, what I really like is the open map where you can explore the world and there is a lot of game in already. You have like two layers of the game: one layer is the open map where you can explore the world, and then the second layer where you have the missions, which is the essence of the game and the story. We really enjoy both, but the bugs take a lot out of it when you actually encounter them. We spent a little over 40 hours playing in local co-op with my son. Would recommend it, yes I would recommend it, but get ready to get really frustrated at times.
