Enjoyable game, until in the late game you are presented with unatainable objectives. Don't buy this game if you are looking for a game to finish and relax. To the developpers : have a look at the Jewel Quest Solitaire games how to implement difficulty levels and make a game that can be relaxing until the end.
Someone on his or her review stated they thought the game was perhaps to hard. Towards the end of the game level 23 the difficulty gets crazy hard. You better hope you have at least 20k on hand because you need to buy cards and potions like mad. I used the cheat engine to give myself the amount of money it took to get past that level. I can do everything except to get the amount of money needed for that chapter. You need to have some crazy combos to get the meter up. Fun and easy to pick up and play game. I do wish the game had a few more card backs. Its 3 card backs and 3 card front. Every round that is 10 chapters long has you trying to accomplish goals like getting a perfect hand and getting a 8 card run and so on. Its very easy on normal. The game does have a story that is a little light. Your traveling with the king and going around the kingdom. The graphics are good and some cards will sometimes light on fire for a bit.
It's ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ solitaire with a story to keep you from offing yourself while being crumbled by a constant feeling of loneliness. Can't be bothered to play any more of it, not my thing but I can see why someone would like it. 6.3/10 EDIT: I actually played it a bit and it's solid solitaire game. I recommend testing it out!
It's House of the Dragon with playing cards, but with 100% less incest!
This game is very funny but later is harder and harder..This game is not for idiots..10/10
I played this not long after completing Chef Solitaire: USA so it's natural I'll compare the two. Besides, it's the same company. Curse of the Dragons is superior in almost every respect: graphics, story, voice acting. The powerups and items are about similarily entertaining. But there is one big downside I need to talk about. In Chef Solitaire every hand is... self-contained, for lack of a better word. What I mean by that, is that it has its own goals and if you fail those, you just retry that one hand. Here, goals are assigned per level, and one level is ten hands. If you fail even one of the goals, you have to redo all ten hands. That feels like terrible design. It caused a situation where I modified my gold gain for a level because I saw I was going to fail it and did not want to waste time redoing it. Hacking a solitaire game is a low I'd never imagine myself stooping to, but here we are. I seriously considered giving a thumbs downs but because this happened only once, it's acceptable. The objectives are actually well balanced to create tension but when all tools are used, it's not a big deal. And besides, I didn't feel like it's a chore to finish, unlike the other game.
Another enjoyable solitaire game There is also a more difficult option that does not allow you to combo Kings into aces if you wanted a challenge. Overall it took me about 20~ hours to complete. BE AWARE that if you get to the tenth stage of each level and hit reset, it resets your completed objectives for that entire level. So I had to go to the map and click on the beginning stage of the level to save my progress each time.
I really enjoyed the story line it was quite detailed, the abilities of the individual heroes was varied. The challenge of clearnig the board and meeting the combos so forth was often difficult in later levels. truly recommend it for all those who enjoy a varied solitaire game .
