Legendary Tales: Stories is a Hidden Object game by Five BN games who are renowned for their high quality games. This one is no exception. Loads of content for a modest price, so good value for money. This game consists of 6 chapters and each chapter is a standalone story about different characters and environments. It takes you around an hour for each chapter (I took much longer!), but it depends of whether you can master the different puzzles and mini-games. These really make your brain ache and test your strategy and observational skills. There are achievements linked to competing the puzzles without a hint or using a hint during the game. The HO scenes themselves are quite challenging, but you can use a hint if you wish. Five BN games always immerse you into a fantastical world where real life fades away and you meet mythical creatures along the way. There was one jump scare, but most of it is suitable for young players as there is no violence. There was a really cute version of Red Riding Hood which morphed into a completely different scenario. For those who enjoy making potion and spells, there are times where you need to collect ingredients for them to heal others or to swim under water for a lengthy time. No stress attached to it. Accessibility wise, no platforming skills are required and no timed sequences; however there are multiple puzzles with colours, so not good for colour blind people. There are morphing objects to find and collectables in every scene and achievements are attached to these. I can't believe that there aren't many reviews for this game. I really enjoyed it as it is great escapism and is well done. A hidden gem. 8.5/10
(Okay... If you are here for anything BUT the Mini-Games? This is passable. Mayhaps. IF you are here for ACHIEVEMENTS/Mini-Games? Save yourselves! You deserve better!!!!!!!!) I don't really know which way to go with this game. On one hand... I liked the stories, which were interconnected with one another... (Except maybe the last one...). The scenes are nice and there is even a "Timed Event". But on the other hand... The FREAKING MINI-GAMES. I am no stranger to hard mini-games. I played those *older HOGs* that have mini-games that can take you... Well... A while. But you know what those games had that this one doesn't? FUN! That's a big issue. These mini games... Were straight up annoying. "Oh, Mostly All HOGs have Mini games." Yes, yes they do. However...! DO ALL HOGS have 95% of their content being JUST MINI-GAMES?! I think not. What the actual hell? By the time I reached the Second Story... I was tired of looking at Mini-Games. I wanted NOTHING to do with them. By the time I was at the Bonus Stories... I was crying tears of annoyance. On the inside of course. Sure there were maybe 3-4 simpler mini-games, but the rest... HALP. There is also a "Strategy Guide". You know when I check one out? When I am *severely* stuck. This guide though? You'll be checking it more than 90% of the time. I play these to Relax. I play these to have fun. Here I just did a lil bit of H.O. scenes and A WHOLE LOT OF FREAKING "SKIP THIS DAMN PUZZLE!!!!!" Maybe it was just me. That's fine too. I can't like or complete everything. But on this note... I am not really amused with this game. Like at all.
3 main stories which are okay and then there are 3 'bonus' stories that were clearly done to make this a 'collactor's edition'. It is fine for the price if you don't care about the story, the puzzles or the adventure elements and just want to waste some time. I really hope that these games get back to being fun and not tedious chores
If you love puzzles you will love this. The accompanying stories are interesting and the game is well worth the money (plenty of content).
molto carino
Five separate Chapters gives you a ton of content! Nine hours for me to finish the game but it would have been longer had I played all the puzzles. I personally don't like puzzles in HOG's but I set the Skip and Hint buttons at 5 seconds so I was able to move along quickly (especially with the fast travel map--very convenient!). If you like puzzles these seem easy and repetitive. The graphics, music and voice-overs are all well done and the HO scenes are clever. I always enjoy searching for collectibles and morphing objects and each Chapter has quite a few. There are a lot of achievements too, if you like going after those. All in all, a decent game to pass the time.
Was fun to play!
I like games that make you look and find this was a hard one but grate game .
Cool game. 8/10 Points.
Jak najbardziej polecam kontynuację serii pod tytułem "Stories". Gra składa się z sześciu oddzielnych części i przejście gry na poziomie trudnym to kilka fajnie spędzonych godzin.
