I've kept an open mind trying this game. AI will do your story, graphics, sound, music and the coding glue to hold it together, it won't design you a great game full of soul and charm.
this is not a vampire-surviver like games, but a action puzzle game. only LV1 is a farming&guide, other level all have special interesting design, that's a good idea, but the experience is bad. LV2 is Pac-man like, very nice, not too much challenge. LV3 is a puzzle-solve level, the graphic is weird, very hard to understand which is wall or entrance, too many mobs, but still not very hard. LV4 is a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ disaster, a invincible boss is chasing you, u have to kill 3 mini boss to fight him. even the easiest mode, the boss touch you will got 25000 dmg means a instant kill. u had to boost u speed to avoid him. but if you speed too fast, the boss will teleport with almost no notice, or have a inverse run. so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ bad experience, even i unlock all the character and skills still can't beat in 4 hours. i am tired of play the noob game, all the builds are totally got a joke in the 1 life game, so i quit.
I bit the bullet to write this review, I went into this game with very low expectations considering this game admits to being "100% AI driven development". It is as bad as the label states. This game is unoriginal AI slop masquerading as a real game. Don't waste your money on this, instead you should buy a fast food burger. Because at least you'd get your money's worth and be more fulfilled.
This game was supposed to be fun, it was supposed to fill the itch for another nice game like Vampire Survivors but... This is pure disaster. At least I couldn't feel any pleasure playing it - 88 minutes of playing it just gave me anger and feeling that someone is taking my money for free... Cause this is not worth it even... I really tried to find some sense but no only skills are not making really difference... System of these skills is there for some reason but neither skills nor synergies are helping. This should be free to play rather than product even in early access... Refunded without any hesitation.
cheaper than a gallon of gas
Better than Starfield
I had such a hard time with the Bone Cathedral, but after a lot of practice I finally got it. No other horde survival game made success feel this good.
The first map is the best, but you can only play it on three difficulty levels. You have to grind through a bunch of dull missions to unlock the other difficulties. Let’s not force the other maps. On top of that, they have even more cheap “go right, then go left for several hundred meters” filler. That does not give you a better understanding of the game, it just forces you to do content you cannot skip if you want higher difficulty for the earlier modes. I like the first map, and the game is basically saying: yeah, if you want to keep playing that one, then do not play it on a higher difficulty, instead go play something else that you might not even like... weird
I really enjoy the game and the updates at the moment are flying in which is great, it would be cool if we could see something other than the same 6 synergies on every single spell ever though, it's always burn, hem, weaken, confuse etc. nothing unique, imagine if life drain targets fired blood lances or something
A Very bland and repetitive, seen it all before and miles better attempt at a roguelike, being in early access is not an excuse. Movement, combat, everything is too slow and dull. Sound is irritating. Difficulty, even on easy is far too hard, even if it wasn't this just isn't exciting and there are much roguelikes on steam. Uninstall and forget.
