Just barely worth the asking price. Repetitious/dragged out as hell with no real puzzle variation. Finished the game, but the game is filled with a lot of fat. Time spent walking around winding paths even though there's nothing significant to do aside from follow a spiral path when it could have been straight. A lot of places that a precise cast of your rod can bypass parts if you have the right hook, but I took those as a blessing. Meanwhile, aiming while on one of the moving platforms or aiming for a moving platform is a complete mess.

Pros:

– Love the art work, clean and fresh.
– Hand crafted levels.
– Like the design of the character.
– Good music.
– Interesting level chooser.
– Collectable gear to improve the character.
– Interesting boss battles.
– Nice little concept.
– Does not require much to run
Specs, MINIMUM: OS: Windows 7 Processor: Intel or AMD 1.5 GHz Memory: 1 GB RAM Graphics: Onboard graphics card DirectX: Version 9.0c Storage: 700 MB available space

Cons:

–Does get repetitive sometimes.
– Can be completed in 3 hours.
– Would like more levels.
– More story would be better.
– Mainly aimed at kids as of how easy it is.
– Simple puzzles, does not really challenge you.
– No resolution menu keeps being a pain and going to my left monitor not my middle monitor.
Conclusion:
This game is aimed at children with how simple its puzzles are, with that being said the game does offer relaxing gameplay which is always nice but the negatives are easy puzzles which do not challenge the player and make them thing but with all this being said it is fun just a shame it does not take long to complete and the story isn’t the best but ok.
It gets a Thumbs up from me.
If you're like me and was hoping this would be a good Zelda-like experience, then you should probably not waste your money on this game. It is an ok game, but not great.
This was a fairly average game and one I would give the non-existent 'Maybe' rating that Steam doesn't have. There is nothing terrible about it; it never crashed, there are no bugs, it's not too easy or too difficult. It's also not outstanding; the puzzles get a bit same-y, the boss fights aren't that interesting, the environments and music don't change much and the story is told almost entirely through two cutscenes at the beginning and end. I would have liked some more weapons/items or more ways to use the fishing rod to solve new kinds of puzzles other than as a grappling hook. Maybe some more in-depth combat and mini-bosses that are unique variants of regular enemies but require special ways to defeat them. I'd recommend it if you are interested in a casual action-puzzle game. If you want something more like a Zelda game then this might not be what you are looking for.
I played through 1/3rd of the game and I had enough. It's casual, very casual platformer. You run and finish levels in 2-5 minutes since puzzles are very simple. The story is basically covered by a one minute cutscene, what wouldn't be the problem if not the repetitive and boring level designs. Since the violence is very cartoonish and the graphics/sounds are cute, you can consider it an appropriate game for kids. Especially on sale.
babies first zelda-like game. skyfish is cute but feels more tedious than hard and the puzzles are as challenging as putting a square peg into a square slot over the circle one. most levels are short and "puzzles" are a no brainers. you will die from things more so because they are cheaply set up rather than you failing something but even these can be avoided after you've seen what they do. even the bosses will give very little challenge. nice game but i would only get it for a child or if you want something relaxing with very little challenge.
its a bit short, lacking in storyboard, and the puzzles are a bit too easy even if youve never played puzzle games before, it wont be hard to figure out which is a good thing, i mean, it is nice to be able to pick up a game and via trial and error get the hang of it rather quick but cause its so short and the difficulty curve goes up real slightly the ease, is also a detriment how ever, its only 8$ (usd) at this time, so pricewise, i believe its a good deal that could easily become a great deal if the devs add to the game even if it includes another charge edit 7/7/17 after time has passed, and beating the game ive decided to change my reccomendation its still a decent game, but for the price it either should have had better "puzzle" design (not make you circle around just for fun) or more story elements, basically its only the opening and end sequence that have any storyline i dont feel like i got ripped off or anything, but content wise, this should have been 5$ and i believe if it were that price at release, they would have sold more and people would have had lower expectations, thus given this game higher remarks

Morlan's shorts:

I am slightly disappointed in this game but will give it a positive because it's a small studio and there are good aspects about it.. The good are.. the character(s), the graphics, animation, the art, all very beautiful and well done. Also cute and very suitable for young gamers. The music is nice albeit a bit short-looped and tends to get repetitive fast but you can turn it off. But then the gameplay is.. well, practically only for younger players as it's way too easy to get through the islands until you get to the boss level which raises the difficulty rather abruptly. Each level is dragged for much too long and there's not enough variation/difficulty until you get to the end level boss. Not really of a puzzler, basically a few switches which are in your way if you just..follow the path Also the price should be lower, around 3+ (of your favorite coin, V alv o seems to think they're all the same anyway), so grab in a bundle.. Don't waste more time reading lengthy reviews.. time is of the essence!
Gave up when the first boss came. Just frustrating, as it was easy and relaxing until this point.
