Legend of Mercy is a Chinese indie fantasy game that explores themes of, among things, romantic love, conflict, alliances and tensions between nations, and racism. It is a mix of a Visual Novel with a romantic gift system that ties into a letter system you can pick up from your mailbox. And a point and click open world with mini-games centered around either treating and healing a patient and on the other hand combat. The English translation is good at least on a basic level ( I am not a grammar lover nor do I know Chinese), though the love poems comes off as lackluster some times more than others which are probably due to the hardship in translating more complex writing. Romance and sexuality The fan service on some of the females, like with the armor with the rank and file High Elf soldiers, is jarring and a bit silly, though some of the females and their outfits do look very enticing and sexy. Furthermore it is a bit peculiar in the internal juxtaposition with the romance element of the game, which focuses by and large, with deviations, more on eroticism and romance than pure pornography, hedonism and soulless nudity. There's a lot of potential female romance interest in the game, I'd would have preferred a smaller number and then that they would have been given more screen time instead. The Plot and the setting The main plot is simple but functions overall most of the time, though the main sentient antagonist isn't fully fleshed out which made certain segments rather silly, maybe the developers ran out of time. Also the use of foreshadowing stroke me as peculiar on a couple of occasions. The setting lends itself to explore some important real life issues, like mercy and racism and conflict between nations, though I found it and the plot a bit simplistic and unrealistic and unintentionally comical at times. Also while the way, for instance, High Elves and Dark Elves are used in the setting might be tolerable for a Chinese audience, presuming the don't know anything of Tolkien nor the subsequent western fantasy medium, it would more or less be jarring for a western perspective.
This game seriously exceeded my expectations! I was surprised by the enchanting twists in the story. Unlike other visual novel games, this was unpredictable, therefor kept me awake all night. Apart from incredibly interesting storyline, I also enjoyed exploring the world and the ability of unlocking new places as the story moves on. The freedom to do things *my* way was pleasant. I have to admit I usually hate mini-games, but the ones in this game are what keep it more realistic and gives the feeling that you're actually healing side characters and doing the actions rather than only reading about them (in the game you are a doctor, so mini-games make you react fast to heal the injured/ill character). If you enjoy visual novels and reading a story and playing mini-games to gain achievements and love the thrill of not knowing when you might die if you choose the wrong option - I really recommend this game. However, if you suck at mini-games and time limits or have slow reaction, I wouldn't advise this game as you cannot proceed with the story unless you win in the mini-game. Otherwise you get game-over.
PPT床戏 奶子图片 就这样了 动画都没几个,捏麻麻地上世纪游戏?
Ok, let`s just face it. The game is not bad, it`s just... so bizzare (in a bad sence). First of all, the 3d images. Never been a fan of them, and in the game itself they look so odd. Like, after each chapter you`ve got a 2d background art and these are kinda amazing. But that depends on the taste, I guess. Everything looks out of place. The mini-games are repetetive. The exploration is dull. The datesim elements are strange and slow-moving. The story is your generic "an outsider from another world" ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. And the preview art in the store look so great! But in the game itself there is no atmosphere such as on the previews. It`s just a clunky game with vague promise of sex content somewhere in the end. I kind of wanted to like this game, but I couldn`t have forced myself to do so.

I bought this game primarily to practice Chinese listening and reading, and it is among the best games I have played for this purpose: there is constant spoken Chinese, with Hanzi subtitles, and you can review dialogues and repeat any sentence at will. Which is all great and the developers should consider marketing it as a language-learning resource, or do some collaboration with a language school, say. The only scope for improvement would be an option to slow down the speaking speed. Obviously some of the vocabulary is about sorcery, curses, royalty etc, so not so useful for daily life, but in my experience almost any high-level dialogue contains a bunch of highly context-specific terminology (look at any HSK6 text). So that didn't bother me. The girls are indeed beautiful, and the story is engaging enough that it doesn't feel too much like study. The gameplay itself is fairly basic; just going through pre-rendered screens and making a few choices. One advantage with this is it would probably run on limited hardware.
游戏互动找不同太痛苦了,剧情也没有太出色的地方,就全配音还行!
Finally a VN,ANIME,RPG,OPEN WORLD GAME all in one with beauty beyond all, class that is hard to to beat if it can be and a very captivating story. It is not short or playable quickly through multiple endings {12 / 14 or more I believe}. More twist than and turns than a dogs hind leg. Mini games are unique and change up some times to keep you on your toes. A little redundant in always telling what city you are entering but that keeps the anticapation going and time to load properly. Writing reviews for me are rare but HAD to write one on this piece of ART and WORK. Also has dating sim and love srories to an extent. Very well worth the price.
