Another great classic, not witrhout it's faults, the most annoying being the save slots don't bring you back to the exact point you stopped, but the starting point near the transport portals, You might have to run a bit towards you last place (the solved puzzles remain solved, though).

I'm taken back on how awesome this game looks. I'm a die hard fan and still have the whole PS2 collection and i was missing part one. To see what i call an old school masterpiece brought back to life warms my hart. This is what gaming was about good story and lore and a game that makes you think. Bravo to whoever cook this up for real. if they can do the same with the original blood omen legacy of kain side scroller for PS1 i can finally complete my collection in this era all revived
its a working port of the original and a toggle to change the graphics from ps1-2 to ps3... i love it! also the added achievements to this was actually fun to do. for some models i prefer the originals, for some i love the new changes, but i love the ability to switch between them with a button (like halo). all remasters need to have this option!
My profile picture is Kain, so I mean peak story, peak series, great characters. Legendary stuff and great remaster. Story carries, gameplay is a bit dated but it's so one of a kind I'll excuse that.

К сожалению, геймплейная беготня и неочевидные действия, которые требуется выполнять, перевешивают плюсы истории, за которой хочется следить. Игра безбожно устарела и ей бы ремейк, а не ремастер. Надоело смотреть гайды, чтобы найти какую-то незначительную дыру на локации для продвижения дальше.
