LEAVES 3

My wife and I played Leaves 1 & 2 last weekend, really enjoyed them. We played through Leaves 3 this weekend and loved improvements from the previous games. A lot of really great mind-twisting puzzles. Was much more difficult than the previous games. Great use of the aesthetics of the first two games in this one - hope to see more of that in Leaves 4. Soundtrack/Score (yes even the bird noises) was flavorful and felt right for each zone that it was different in. Controls do need some work, however, considered the first two games were point-&-click, it's to be expected, as well as some polish on clipping through the map in some locations; nothing a patch couldn't fix. If you're solely a point-&-click puzzle gamer, you may find this one more difficult because of the controls, however, if you played through the first two games, this one is a must.

The graphics are gorgeous! The puzzles clever! The controls suck big time. The first two games just used the mouse. This game uses WASD and it's quite awkward. I spent 15 minutes trying to position a piece. I even resorted to a walkthrough. to make sure I was in the correct position. Still didn't work. Had to fumble around—one step left, one step right...over and over until it finally clicked into place. Really, really terrible controls and intensely frustrating.

[h1]这款时隔九年的解密游戏续作治好了我的精神状态！ [/h1] 《LEAVES》是一款风格比较独特的解密游戏，因为这系列游戏有点超现实意识流，谜题设计也很勇于打破常规，而且解密的大主线也被中文译名《寻叶之旅》表达地很贴切。没想到时隔九年，steam上再次迎来了这个系列的续作《LEAVES 3》。 正所谓“士别三日当刮目相待”，《LEAVES 3》的进步可真是太大了。以前的平面风格虽然也能很好地衬托游戏美术风格的独特，但并没有一个特别突出的整体风格。续作竟然将画面升级成了第一人称的3D视角，整个画面变得清晰了不少，曾经一些眼熟的图案3D化了之后还挺亲切的，连毛球们都变得更加可爱了。最重要的是解密的时候不需要频繁切换地图，而是直接走门就好了，这种不用等转场和加载的顺畅感绝对是解密游戏的最大便利。 此外，3D化后的视角在解密的时候更加方便。比如本作是没有所谓的记事本功能的，遇到的线索只能自己用其他方式记一下，这在解密游戏里是很常见的情况。但本作好就好在它会把线索和谜题放在一个只需要移动视角就能看到的地方，不需要玩家频繁走动或者截图进行记录。 比如那个拼图案拿石板的谜题，玩家在做拼图的时候正前方就能看到要拼的图案，如果玩家是拼完一个图案拿到石板然后再去做石板解密的话，正好在离开的时候可以调整一下石板的面，接下来再重复三次这个流程直到把四块石板全部解密。整个流程完全不需要多余的操作，这种优化是真的舒服。 游戏的整体解密其实有一些难度。因为这游戏很多谜题都属于那种比较考验耐心的，是那种偏长一些的解密。比如魔方解密，这个直接卡了我将近40分钟，原因无他，就是单纯魔方的块数太多了，错一个就要从头来，虽然方式比较固定，每个分岔的方向基本只有两种方式可以选择，但这些方案一旦叠加起来不错个二三十次基本很难解开。特别是一开始可能出错一次只需要十几秒的时间，到后面出错一次就要上一分钟了。 同样的还有星图和门锁解密，这两个相对来说就比较简单，星图只要画出正确的顺序就行，只是需要玩家完成一比就要转到后面去看线索；门锁就更简单了，左侧直接贴上了密码，难点就是你需要在一对和二进制代码一样的黑白组合里选出对应的图案，有的图案甚至两个面是一样的，但其他不一样，就需要不断地试错，不过揭开的那一刻还是蛮有成就感的。 本作其实玩法和《达芬奇密室》很像，也是一个大型解密游乐场，通过不断的解密可以解锁越来越多的房间。但是由于《LEAVES》那种抽象又独特的美术风格，真能感受到和其他解密游戏的区别，特别是谜题的展现方法很有自己的特色。 总体来说，《LEAVES 3》在画面上的进步一定程度上优化了解密的设计，让玩家可以更方便的进行解密，通过这两年的解谜游戏的重制和续作风潮我也能确信，解密游戏3D化确实是一个非常有优势的进化方向。 [quote] 游玩百态，将游玩心得用汉语化作玩家的指明灯，(๑•̀ㅂ•́)و✧ [url=https://store.steampowered.com/curator/35402408/]点击这里关注汉化语录~[/url] 如果喜欢这个评测，请点个赞让更多人看见 [/quote]

Отличное продолжение, но стилистика уже совсем другая и от 3d перемещений начинает кружиться голова. Для любителей этой серии пойдет. Пройду ее чуть позже.

LEAVES 3 ist ein angenehm ruhiges, ungewöhnliches Spiel. Hat man sich einmal darauf eingelassen, entfaltet es seinen eigenen Charme und zeigt deutlich sein Potenzial. Die entspannte Atmosphäre und der liebevolle Stil sorgen dafür, dass man gern weiterspielt. Kein Spiel für schnelle Action, sondern für alle, die sich gern treiben lassen.

A nice little indie puzzle in the vein of Myst! As someone who doesn't typically play Myst type games (the closest would probably be The Witness), I found the puzzles a bit challenging, though there's usually a few available at a time, so I could bounce around. One thing that I got stuck on at first was not realizing what was clickable in a puzzle -- this might be my lack of Myst knowledge -- but I just got used to clicking on everything to check. Overall an enjoyable game with really fantastic music!

Artistically beautiful and the soundtrack outstanding. A little wonky on the paint table, but you can save, exit and go back in and you're fine. Same with red ball maze, do the rooster ball last. I can't IMAGINE anyone doing a thumbs down on this game! I with for a soundtrack and a Leaves 4! Thank you Eve Nohl!

Ein relativ kurzes, aber sehr, sehr schönes Spiel! Vor allem wird der Spieler hier nicht an die Hand genommen und durch das Spiel geführt, man ist auf sich alleine gestellt und muss selber herausfinden wie die Rätsel funktionieren. Diese sind teils knifflig aber durchaus lösbar. Ein schönes, klassisches Puzzlegame wie man sie von früher kennt.

Great fun! Artistry is impressive. Puzzles are unique and at times challenging.

Ein total tolles Spiel. Aber so ganz einfach ist es nicht! Hab nach all' den Jahren schon nicht mehr mit einer Fortsetzung gerechnet! Smarte Ideen interessant umgesetzt. Für Rätselfreunde ein exzellenter Genuss! Ist Leaves 4 geplant? P.S. ich kann den armen Hank nicht nehmen. Die Wand öffnen ging, aber nun verändert sich der Mauszeiger nicht mehr, wenn ich über ihm bin...
