A great little introduction to programming and Python. Don't expect it to replace a dedicated, full-length course with all the bells and whistles, but if you're like me and need to learn in a focused environment, this is great and will give you the tools and ideas you need to take this further as needed.- especially for the price.

Very effective if used in conjunction with other resources. As others have mentioned it's less of a game more of an interactive textbook. Treat it as such, not as your sole resource - perhaps go to another course/book/app for a break then come back to this and your overall study should be better. Overall awesome resource for beginners to intermediate.
As someone trying to learn and implement python into my work. This is an awful learning tool and has hands down been the worst tool I've tried to try and learn python. I thought it would be fun trying to learn via a "game". It is anything but ... it is a text book with multiple choice quizzes that don't really help towards fundamentally understanding what is attempting to be taught.
