About

LEAP is a fast-paced, multiplayer first-person shooter featuring epic large scale battles, each with players armed to the teeth. Become an elite LEAP mercenary as you soar into battle. Fight for either the United Earth Defense Coalition (UEDC) or the rebel Exo-Terrans - whoever pays the most, wins your trigger finger and excessive arsenal.
Work together with your teammates, use powerful weapons and unique class abilities, and traverse the terrain quickly with grappling hooks, jetpacks and outrageous vehicles to seize victory.

Jump on your hoverboard and backflip into battle, or saddle up onto a mechanical moose and lead the charge. Whatever your play style, every LEAP mercenary is equipped with a Personal Vehicle (PV), allowing you to quickly cover distances and close the gap on your enemy.

Every exosuit comes equipped with match altering abilities - Call in an Orbital Laser to wipe out a group of enemies, or throw down a Support Shield to take temporary cover from enemy fire.

Every obstacle is an opportunity to soar, dash or charge, and an elite mercenary will use their unique movement abilities to navigate the battlefield quickly. Use your grappling hook to reach greater heights or your directional dash to dodge enemy fire.

The glory of victory only gets sweeter with rewards. Customize your mercenary with helmet emojis and distinct skin options for exosuits, vehicles and weapons. Flaunt and taunt your frenemies with style and sass.

i had high hopes for this game but one update killed the playerbase so its either play bots and grind levels or play bots and maybe 1 or 2 consistent players that sweat hard for no reason. died faster than splitgate 2
LEAP is a hidden gem of a game that offers a unique and fast-paced experience. The graphics are stunning and each map feels like a unique environment. The use of both grappling hooks and personal vehicles makes traversing the large environments easy and adds to the game’s depth. The customizable suits and weapons are great features that allow you to personalize your character and loadout. I also appreciate that the game is cross-platform, so you can play with friends regardless of their preferred console or PC. While I think the game is great as is, I do think it would benefit from the addition of a season pass for players to grind, unlocking rewards as they progress through the season pass. Currently there is no season pass, however there is a cosmetic shop where you can spend currency earned in-game on things like weapon skins, suits, personal vehicles, nameplates, and graffiti sprays. Overall, I recommend LEAP to anyone looking for a unique and fast-paced multiplayer first-person shooter experience. 😊
I play it through beta/playtest and enjoy it then buy the game, but when they introduce no skill weapon like rocket launcher I refund it immediatelly.
Super fun but I wish the stuff I had from the Playtest transferred to the actual game.
I Played the beta and now the full release game , the game is very nice there's different game modes , 4 classes , the maps are very nice , one of the biggest positive points of this game is the gameplay mechanics , they are very nice , everything is smooth , the game optimisation is very good , devs run community events every week , now there's a roadmap too , Titanfall , Tribes , Planetside fans should try this only 1 negative point : the chameleon dude , they need to remove the sniper from him he's so annoying
sadly this game is dead.
LEAP is a multiplayer-focused first-person shooter that sets out to differentiate itself through speed, scale, and sheer kinetic chaos. Developed by a small team and published by Blue Isle Studios, the game leans heavily into exaggerated sci-fi combat where constant motion is not just encouraged but essential to survival. Rather than grounding players in traditional cover-based gunfights, LEAP pushes them into wide-open battlefields where grappling hooks, jetpacks, hoverboards, and bizarre personal vehicles define the rhythm of play. From the very first match, it makes clear that standing still is a mistake and momentum is the true currency of combat. The defining feature of LEAP is its traversal system. Movement options are layered on top of one another in a way that allows players to chain actions fluidly, launching themselves across vast maps, diving into firefights from above, or escaping danger in seconds. Grappling hooks let you slingshot across terrain, jetpacks provide vertical control, and hoverboards turn open ground into high-speed highways of destruction. This emphasis on movement creates a unique flow where battles feel less like static skirmishes and more like constantly shifting aerial dogfights fought with guns instead of planes. When everything works smoothly, the sense of freedom and speed can be genuinely exhilarating. Combat itself follows familiar FPS conventions but is shaped heavily by the game’s mobility. Weapons are generally straightforward, focusing on readability and quick feedback rather than intricate recoil systems or hyper-realistic ballistics. Because players are often airborne or moving at high speed, engagements are chaotic and short-lived, with positioning and awareness often mattering more than raw aim. The game supports multiple classes or loadouts, each offering different abilities and playstyles, allowing players to tailor their approach to offense, support, or disruption. This adds a layer of tactical choice without slowing down the pace. LEAP also attempts to deliver a sense of scale that goes beyond standard arena shooters. Matches are designed to support large player counts, and the maps are built to accommodate wide-open engagements with multiple objectives happening simultaneously. Vehicles and special abilities inject moments of spectacle, ranging from absurdly humorous to genuinely effective tools of destruction. These elements can create memorable highlights, especially when teams coordinate or when unexpected chaos swings the tide of battle in dramatic fashion. However, the game’s ambition is also the source of many of its problems. Maintaining consistent performance and populated servers is critical for an experience built around large-scale chaos, and when player counts drop or technical issues arise, the game’s strengths begin to unravel. Sparse matches reduce the intensity of combat, making the expansive maps feel empty and undermining the sense of scale the game relies on. Connectivity issues, uneven matchmaking, and occasional performance hiccups can further disrupt the flow, which is especially damaging in a game so dependent on speed and responsiveness. In terms of identity, LEAP sometimes struggles to stand apart beyond its movement mechanics. While the traversal systems are its strongest asset, other elements—such as progression, customization, and long-term incentives—can feel underdeveloped or generic compared to competitors. Unlocks and cosmetics exist, but they don’t always provide a strong sense of progression or personal investment. As a result, some players may enjoy the moment-to-moment gameplay but find it difficult to stay engaged over the long term. Visually, the game opts for clarity and functionality over cutting-edge realism. Environments are colorful and readable, ensuring that players can track enemies and objectives even during frantic engagements. While this approach supports gameplay, it also means the presentation lacks a distinctive artistic signature that might help the game stand out in a crowded genre. Sound design and effects are serviceable, reinforcing the chaos without being especially memorable. Ultimately, LEAP is a game driven by bold ideas and energetic execution, even if it doesn’t always deliver on its full potential. At its best, it offers moments of thrilling, high-speed combat that feel different from most mainstream shooters, especially when played with friends in full matches. At its worst, technical issues and limited long-term depth expose the fragility of its design. For players craving fast, movement-heavy multiplayer action and willing to accept some rough edges, LEAP can be an exciting and occasionally spectacular experience, but it remains a title defined as much by its ambition as by the challenges of fully realizing it.
