Leaf it Alone

Me lo he pasado dos veces, aunque un logro sea muy dificil, el juego es lo mejor y muy entretenido.

Cute game, but not much in the way of content. I received it in a bundle that I purchased with another game, so I didn't pay full-price for it. Which is good, because I wouldn't say that this product is worth the list price. There are only 6 small areas to clean, and only 8 collectables to locate. There is no story, which is fine, except they tried to shoehorn in something at the end, which made no real sense. It doesn't get satisfying to play until around midway through when you can actually afford upgrades, before that it's just tedium. It's just raking, blowing, grabbing leaves. The same leaves. Over and over. That's it. They're all the same color, pretty much the same size. There is really no difficulty to it, which is okay if you're just looking for a mind-numbing game you can dissociate to. Otherwise, it's kinda boring. Has no real replay-ability outside of completing the few Steam achievements it offers. 4/10. Needs more variety and some sort of progression curve or story. Something. It's oddly boring, and I love these sorts of cleaning/organizing/repetitive/cozy games. They had a solid idea, but only executed it at about 15%. This should have been a free-to-play demo version that eventually led to a much larger, more involved game. It's a waste of money as it presently is. I wanted to love it, but it was very underwhelming.

This is a mostly relaxing, cute, little game. I've played through it twice so far. I'm still missing 3 achievements, but I doubt I'll play it again anytime soon. I love that time doesn't matter (unless you're going for that specific achievement). I love the satisfaction that comes from clearing an area. So, if that's the itch you want scratched, this will do it. The thing that disappoints me beyond measure is that by the time you have FINALLY afforded to upgrade all your tools to their best options, the game is essentially finished. That's it. You're done. No extra section to be cleared now that you're fully upgraded. You are robbed of that joy. Not cool. Lastly, I'll mention that the game completely crashed once during my first play through while I was picking up a big pile of leaves in the greenhouse. I don't have a true gaming PC, but it's still very powerful (excluding the graphics department). I've played far more resource-heavy and graphics-intensive games than this with no issues. So, I'm not sure why that happened. Second play through was fine. All in all it's an okay game. I would absolutely recommend it if you could actually use the fully upgraded arsenal you worked so hard to achieve. But since you can't, I won't.
