Leadwerks Game Launcher

A simple, clean game launcher that gives you access to free games made by indie devs. Some of the games are mini games and others are prototypes or work in progress. You can give feedback direct to the devs through each games workshop page and help shape the games development.

Doesn't work properly, the buttons don't work and none of the demos I have installed show up. Developers, pls fix. EDIT: The developers seem to have fixed the issue and the app works as of 22/12/2017. I still can't recommend this as I have to alt-tab out of each game and then either right click on the game and close it manually or use task manager. Pressing escape should either bring up a menu or close the current demo.

Great idea, get to play some early prototypes or complete mini games for free. The fact that its through steam so you are not downloading any old file is great. You can also get in touch with the develpers of these games and help them with ideas and bug reports. You never know your idea might appear in the next best seliing game.

Leadwerks Game Launcher - программа для запуска игр созданных разработчиками на одноименном игровом движке и запиленных в Мастерскую Steam. Сама программа представляет из себя простенький интерфейс со списком игр. Игры можно запустить как автономно, так и через браузер (с сайта LeadWerks). Игр довольно много, во многом это либо короткие экспериментальные проекты или демки. Часть из них адский трэш, но есть и достойные экземпляры. Примеры игр такие - есть разные вариации на тему Portal (Vectronic (Demo), паззлы базирующиеся на физике (marble game XD) , и даже игры на тему первого Doom (Despair of Ordinary Men [Demo]), ну и много всякого другого. Минус программы, как и самого движка имхо в следующем: программа работает вполне стабильно на новых видеокартах, но со старыми могут возникнуть проблемы - программа может просто не запуститься, либо выдать ошибку на старте, либо включиться - но не загружать представленные игры. Как итог: в целом программа неплоха, для тех кто хочет бесплатно посмотреть как выглядят игры сделанные обычными пользователями на данном движке, ну и уж потом решить нужен ли Вам этот движок, или же захотите ли Вы играть в платные игры на нем.

So, yea, great ... free games ... its classified under -> applications -> game development but its an ad for a €100 package ? i call that false advertising, just call it what it is and put it under demos ... highly un-recommended
