Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.29/day in the week to Aug 18 → 6/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Ok, so at first I was like - meh, game looks boring and empty, but I'll give it a chance. And hour later I was locked in, and enjoying every pixel on my screen and every tiny bit of the world around. Now lets get into why: * Visuals, optimization and physics: hoooooolllyyyy - world looks and feels great, and the fact that it was made by one person makes it even more impressive * Mechanics: there are a lot of unique and cool ideas - even tree cutting has its own small but pleasant twist. Smiting is simplified but thought-thru version of what there is in the Vintage Story. And idea that you actually can see gems which you infused weapon with is a cheffs kiss. Building is a bit hard to wrap your head around, but once you've used to it, and discovered blueprints system - it becomes really pleasant and simple * Locations and bioms: they are small, and not a lot of them, but again it's a pleasure to explore Main problem and reason for most of the negative reviews which I've seen - is that the bar for the Sandbox genre is really really high, and people expect a lot of things out of the box, which this game unfortunately doesn't have yet - like advanced cooking, multiplayer, or huge world. But on the other hand - given level of quality and uniqueness of game core which is already there - I really hope that developer will not run out of money or will to live, and continue to grow this game into something massive and awesome. Also, never thought that I would say this phrase - but "I wish there would be more grind in this game" XD

игра хорошая очень просто не хватает настройки дальности прорисовки для слабых пк
In Short: For the curent price this game is a 9/10 open world sandbox game. i have played many "minecraft Like" games over the last decade and a half. and by no uncertainty this is by far the most promising of these games. if this game continues to develop and expand on its content i believe this will become an Epic game.
First real sandbox game I have played in a long time. The mechanics have great depth and the building system is phenomenal. I see other reviewers complaining about a lack of content or multiplayer but I don't see any issue with this game. Kick back and enjoy the slower, more methodical pacing of this game.
Finished the game in about 10 hrs without actually building anything, u gotta do basically the same thing 4 times and kill 5 differeng bosses to beat the game and then u run out of content, of course u can still build as far as imagination and mechanics lets you, magic looks and feels great but all spells are basically the same with different skins, great game with a lot of potential
this is nice game
Wow. *Lay of the Land* is everything I have spent the last 16 years trying to mod Minecraft into. It is still very new, but it already has an absolutely insane amount of potential. It is essentially a fantasy Minecraft with *Teardown*-style voxel destruction, taking inspiration from mods like *Tinkers’ Construct* and immersive sims such as *Arx Fatalis*. The physical, in-world crafting is fantastic. You can drop ingredients together on the ground or arrange them on a table and craft almost anywhere. Smelters, furnaces, and other crafting stations work similarly: you physically place items inside them, melt ore, and pour liquid metal into moulds to create weapon and tool parts. I love it. The combat is already decent, although some of the enemy AI still needs work. Certain enemies, particularly skeletons, become genuinely fun to fight once you have some armour and a proper sword-and-board setup. The procedural generation is also incredible. Exploring the world gives me some of the same feelings I had playing *Morrowind* or *Skyrim*: dungeons scattered throughout a huge fantasy landscape, breathtaking voxel environments, monolithic caves, and places that genuinely feel worth investigating. At times, it feels like the Minecraft sandbox I always wanted, but with the atmosphere and exploration of a Bethesda RPG. Naturally, I want to see much more. More biomes, dimensions, enemies, dungeons, gear, building options, and reasons to adventure. Give me its version of the Nether, Oblivion gates, strange new realms, or whatever else the developers can dream up. The systems already here provide such a strong foundation that my head spins thinking about what this game could become after several more years of development. Minecraft gradually moved further away from the fantasy survival RPG I wanted as it pursued a broader and younger audience. *Lay of the Land* feels like it is finally moving in that direction instead. I genuinely hope it finds a large enough audience to continue growing into the incredible game it has the potential to become. I will certainly keep playing, supporting it, and dreaming about where it could go. **Note to the developer:** Please do not hesitate to reach out if you ever need help. I have worked in the games industry as a lead designer and programmer for over ten years, and I have also spent the last five years teaching game development at the post-secondary level. I would genuinely love to contribute in any way that might be useful. Incredible work.
very good game. fun working out what you are meant to be doing. adventuring is fun but not very rewarding since all of the available items are 100% obtainable from structures and each ore is only needed form 1 cave a fast travel home spell would be ideal to make it worth spending time building something permanent. definitely worth a play
This game is amazing. Im having so much fun exploring. I didnt think I was going to like the crafting system but now im really enjoying it! Really look forward to future content for this game and other games the dev creates
