Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.13/day in the week to Jul 21 → 6/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,420 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

great game
This game is really REALLY good, like i cant express how much i enjoyed this game because you cant. Caring for your troops trying really hard to prevent them from dying and having the brutal despair when you ♥♥♥♥ up and kill your unit on accident, the absolute fun i had with the stealth, The cold mechanics making sure you do enough manufacturing to get money to even MAKE it to the other side, it was simply and utterly beautiful. Story is alright in my opinion but the gameplay just TOOK ME. Frankly its one of the best games ive played all year, unfortunately behind pacific drive. loved that game, but holy i simply loved this game, i highly recommend it, its not easy until you figure it out or meager yourself by through the whole game, though i simply cant get enough. as of review im wanting to do another play through, LOVE IT would buy again if i could.

Was so ready to love this but sadly it just falls short in playability / and is fiddly and frustrating. Doesn't realise any feels. Refunded
Absolutely loved this game from start to finish. I got attached to my tiny little soldiers with their unique portraits and little biographies. They develop new traits as the game goes on -- they can become an alcoholic, get addicted to drugs, or develop PTSD or other mental/emotional conditions. Managing the train is really cool, and I loved the combat. You definitely can't just storm your way through everything. Times are too tough and supplies are too scarce for that. The story and side quests were also compelling, and you have to make tough moral choices. Do I risk sending my best combat medic out to save my best sniper, or do I risk letting him cross the battlefield with a broken leg? Do I stop to help this village when our enemies are right behind us? It's all very well-balanced, too. The combat felt perfect on default/normal difficulty. Managing the train doesn't feel like it detracts from the excitement of combat. I really had to use strategy and plan ahead during combat, when assembling and arming my squads, and while traveling. But I never felt like any mission was unbeatable. I just needed to try a different strategy, and there were always multiple strategies available. I definitely recommend it for fans of Metro Exodus or Frostpunk. It's a different genre, but it's got the same bleak, harrowing, determined, hopeful mood. Plus I got to learn about this piece of history, which I had no idea about before.
Took a bit to get used to it and what your supposed to do. but yip well worth it

Love it
I recommend this one 7/10 and on a good sale. It's a bit of Commandos and a (very little) bit of Frostpunk. There are two game modes, a map where you go forward with your train in order to cross Siberia and stop occasionally to do missions and collect resources, and real-time-tactics isometric overview like Commandos. They don't work very well together IMO and the former is a chore and very repetitive. The latter is the same old formula in this kind of games. They just couldn't improve the top-view-cone-vision-enemies-go-and-come-on-their-path formula, which is boring AF nowadays and a shame. The concept of merging those two gameplay modes is interesting but badly implemented. You're supposed to be crushed by the winter and have a bad ass challenge as deep as you enter Siberia, but once you manage how squads and the economy work you start exploring everywhere and you're fine to upgrade your train so you're mostly not affected by anything else. Very unbalanced and feels really lacking on playtesting. All in all the game is too easy even on higher difficulty, the only real challenging mission is the last one. Not a bad game but expected more.
