Prices
The United States storefront in every case, so this compares stores and not countries.
Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Every market we collect.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.13/day in the week to Jul 21 → 6/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,420 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Last Train Home is an absolute gem. I’m usually a turn based enjoyer and I love XCOM, so real time with pause is often not my thing, but here it clicked perfectly. It honestly feels like a beautiful mix of Soldiers and Men of War, just with way more focus on people and history instead of only on hardware. Captain Langer, played by a real actor, carries half of the emotional weight. After dozens of hours I genuinely felt like I knew the guy. The whole story of the Legion, the moral choices, the constant pressure of time on the campaign map, plus those tight tactical fights… it’s tough, but fair. More like “good XCOM” without the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ 95 percent shots missing just to screw you. When you mess up an ambush you know exactly why your boys are flying from a grenade. When a plan works, watching that perfect crossfire or a clean grenade setup is pure satisfaction. I was doing a big work project with the game parked on Alt Tab and every time I switched back it felt like coming home to my unit. Stumbling onto this one really felt like finding a hidden little miracle on Steam. If you like tactics, history and real stakes, this is absolutely worth your time. And what is really nice - original Czech dubbing. This dubbing gives the game a second layer. English is ok, Czech is superior (but only if You at least know basics of any Slavic language).
fun to play
loved this a bit of everything

After nearly 140 hours of gameplay and successfully completing the campaign on the hardest difficulty, I am more than pleased with this game. It was entertaining. Semi-predictable but what's wrong with that? Nothing. Just when the game feels a little repetetive, it does something different that allows you to question you're motive. I would highly reccommend giving this a playthrough. It was clearly made with an eye for detail, and passion. It's compelling and well written. Based loosely on a true story. Not much else i can say other than give it a try.
