Only 30 min in and i have to take a break. Tons of fun and pretty challenging as well. Id say its a must have VR title.
Experienced on the Oculus Rift with Touch Controllers
Please note: I received a free Steam key through the Steam Curator Connect program You can view my review & gameplay here: https://youtu.be/dQhZyZNHXu0 This was a very tough call for me on whether to recommend or not. However, the game just had too many bugs/errors and the gameplay overall was just mediocre at best. The price is also too high given the quality / quantity of content for the game. This is a zombie defense game that wants to be COD zombies for VR, but it's nowhere near that quality. There are some things I did like. For the most part, the environments look good. From the screenshots, I thought this would be an ugly looking game, but in fact, the polygon art style is well done here. I especially enjoyed the cinematic scenes in between all the action even though they were pretty basic. Usually, it just involved looking at static dioramas with a VO. Although the voice acting wasn't good, the script and directing were above average for this price range. Unfortunately, everything else about this game was either mediocre or substandard. The UI is kind of messy. The tutorial is too basic. The enemy AI was not good at all, they all just walk towards the base (except mini-boss in Endless mode). The weapons did not feel realistic and they weren't arcade fun either. There was hardly any enemy variety other than lots of different zombie skins. There are only two kinds of turrets. The story mode of this game only has 3 environments, although they do have day and night scenes, it's really just lots of waves of enemies while you shoot lots of zombies. The only strategy is figuring out what is the best weapon and just use that all the way to the end. The first few waves are the most difficult ones until you can get some Tesla turrets down. Endless mode is pretty much just two different environments that includes a mini-boss fight that finally has an enemy that acts different and to which you have to figure out how to defeat. Home defense mode I found just too buggy and I couldn't even get the door to unlock even though I had enough money (is there a reason for this?). Either way, the additional modes were just more of the same really except for the mini-boss fight. Rate 4.5/10.
Another VR Zombie wave shooter with the low poly look and upgrade weapons repair fort game. While looks good there are a few bugs that need addressing and it's priced to high. Zombies do look good though and a nice selection of them. See video review here: https://youtu.be/yzD3eS-EOrU Can't recommend at the price and also there are already plenty of these games in VR. Add some polish and maybe add co-op as it's such a large space to defend. Lower the price to around $9.95 and would be a recommend.
Last Line VR: Zombie Defense is definitely the Best VR defense game i have experienced. Is the game fun? Hell Yes!!! That is what matters most. Is the game smooth? Yes!!! Like a knife through butter. Does the game have great music, guns and upgrades? Oh yes!!! Does the game have bugs? Yes, a new wave would not trigger so i had to restart. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VqeRIMdW3rM&t=6s
really pleased polished controls bullet physics are nice solid graphics and gameplay i love what is so far i cant wait for more eager to play more and hope this gets coop down the road really satisfying gameplay honestly a must have and total fan of the home defence mode that was cool man
Not ready for prime time, very clunky, no comfort movement options (teleport, peripheral vision reduction). Refunded.
I can't hear anything at all while other games and apps work. If that was not enough I'm always placed above the floor. Do you really think it makes sense to pay for something like this?....
I would not recommend. The game is too clunky, and the combination of terrible FOV and zombies coming from all sides, makes it nauseating.
редкое дерьмо!!за 20 рублей не купил бы!!!!!!!
Game is unplayable on Vive Pro - I am 3 feet higher in the air than I should be.
