Those who are reading my Reviews know that i like Pixel Games. Remembering the Commodore 64 Era and yes i still have my C64. And thats what i like on Steam where are many of them. Now i found a new Game. It is the first Game of a Single Developer, so let´s have a look at it. Welcome to LAST HOME! The Story? Just defend your Home from Enemy Waves. Yes, thats all. Sounds like a pure Tower Defense, but it is more. A Hack and Slay Tower Defense with Resource Management on just one Screen. In LAST HOME you have a home in the Middle of the Map. There is also a Merchant where you can buy needful Things. When you start an enemy Wave, they are coming from 2 Sides. Defeat them, collect Coins and upgrade. You can recruit different Units with Melee or Range Abilities. Place them around your Home and they will automatically Fight when the Enemy Waves are running. Your Character is able to move around and Hack and Slay the Incoming Enemys. Your Character is also leveling up and each Time you can choose between 3 different Abilities. If you die or your Home is falling you loose. So place your Defenders wisely. And you can save. Use that! In Wave 10 apeared a Boss Monster and did much, much Damage. Here i found out, that i should have placed my Units better. LAST HOME is also in Early Access, so there is more to come. I´m hoping for Achievements that will make it more Challenging. LAST HOME is a wonderfull Pixel Game with an addicting Gameplay for a fair low Price. Dear Dev, at first a big thanks for this Little Pearl, i like it. Second, you should insert Achievements for example for a Special Number of Waves or using new Units, there are 13 if i remember Right or for the Bossfights.
