This game is actually quite a bit of fun. You do lots of different things. Mostly Match 3, but other things, too. Hidden object, solitaire, bonus games (beat the computer, cursed coin), and spot the difference. There are settings to play it casual, limited moves, timer and limited moves. The music can be disabled, and it is separate from the sounds. It starts out, bam, no tutorial or hand holding. There are objects and hazards there that hopefully you've seen before. I would not recommend this for a first time player. Seasoned veteran, definitely. There is kinda of a story, but you know how that goes. It's mostly those floaty people talking to each other and arguing over stuff. So far, it's super enjoyable. I really wish that 1 to 6 were available. I would recommend this, and I paid full price.
Don't let the dated looks of this game keep you from getting it (on sale, of course.) The plastic toy CG animation and Playskool color palette disguises a pretty fun and involved Match 3+ game (the in-game guide for the Match 3 gameplay is 14 pages long.) There's nothing revolutionary here, but what it has is done well. Besides the Match 3, every so often you get basic solitaire levels, find the difference between two pictures, and hidden objects scenes. Not the most exciting features, but a nice break nevertheless. AND, as you play, bonus Match 3 levels open in a separate section. So, if you are a Match 3 fan who has already played the best and/or most beautiful Match 3 games on Steam, consider picking this one up- it will keep you busy for a bit, for not a lot of money (on sale!)

I think the Laruaville series peaked with this installment, and I've got them all up to the current #16 as of this writing. This is the only game I've played from this developer where the 91 M3-puzzle levels can be readily solved with matches only for an extra "puzzle" element, although there are plenty of powerups to be had if you make bigger matches. So it can be very easy if you simply want to relax and blow your way out of the levels, or challenging if you don't use the powerups. If you want a serious challenge, play in limited moves and don't use the powerups. There are lots of bonus M3 levels which unlock as you go along. 21 turn-based M3 levels in which you must remove all the coins from your playing field before the computer opponent can do the same on their side. Also 21 extra challenging levels featuring black coins which will forfeit the level if you collect them, so you must strategically play around them to get all the regular coins. The ghosts are a hoot this time around. The developer did take a fair bit of artistic latitude with the ancient Egyptian theme, so if you're a history purist, that's going to be off-putting. In between the regular levels, there are a bunch of minigames, mostly super easy solitaire, but about 10 spot the difference scenes too. The turn-based bonus levels are sometimes a matter of luck with cascades, and several of the black coin toughie levels could have been better designed (later games featuring black coin levels have some extra fail-safes built in so you don't accidentally lose due to a cascade). But Laruaville 7 remains one of my favorites of the series.
"Laruaville 7" is a great match-3 game with unique mechanics and minigames (solitaire, spot the difference and hidden object games). It runs flawlessly and it will stimulate your brain! A very tricky match-3 with power-ups and unique ways to solve the puzzles. Help the cute ghosts in their adventure as they are about to experience ancient Egypt! Awaking the spirit of a Pharaoh was probably a bad idea.. That's one ghost you don't want to deal with! ^^ The levels themselves are hard but leave an impression and above all they are fun. So you will be glad it wasn't a piece of cake that required no thinking and ended in 10 minutes. The visual effects, animations and music will help a lot in keeping you calm and focused on the task at hand. If you are stuck, you can use the hint system, which I find very good, comprehensive and helpful. On top of that, they have added a beautifully crafted grimoire as help. It will keep you busy for hours but without overstaying its welcome and you can always replay it due to its nature. Featuring different modes, minigames and building your town! You can skip the minigames and play them at another time if you want. New levels with an opponent. One of the most fun and intriguing match-3 puzzle games out there.
