Land War

Though I had some issues with the graphics being a bit difficult, after the developer tried to help me out, I found settings that work. The game itself, at least in solo against 7 bots is exactly what I was looking for -- tactical without being brain numbing. Quick maps, lots of replay value - as no two sessions on a map are likely to look exactly the same. Haven't tried the harder bots yet, but so far I enjoy it greatly.

This is seriously the best party game. I love that you can actually play with 8 people. Plus it's really easy to pick up- even people who don't play video games at all can learn fast. And with all the different levels, you can easily play for hours without getting bored. Highly recommend!

if you like to conquer and rule all the lands then you have come to the right place its fun and has different controls compared to most games, but it is worth buying. P.S. more fun with friends my brother said. but i don't have friends so that's a problem for me to solve, but its still fun at 11:20 at night.

I can't overstate my recommendation for this game if you are looking for local co-op games! Its simple, yet oddly enthralling, and even supports 8 players! Give it a look, it has more longevity than it might seem at a glance Critiques: - a level editor is sorely missed as a way to increase longevity - the menus themselves feel somewhat bad to use, and the options menu doesn't seem to save when the game is closed (possibly a bug?)

I've been interested in this game for a while and finally decided that, at the very low, fair, and reasonable purchase price, I can't go wrong. Well, I was wrong. I am not returning the game to Steam for a refund because I believe there is potential here and I'm only out five bucks, and I've been a beta tester for many years for many products (if the dev wants to refund me and have me beta test instead, I'd be thrilled with the idea). What I'm hoping for is resolution to the problems I am experiencing, but that's up to the developer. A) Keyboard controls are nearly impossible to navigate when choosing player, and don't function at all depending on what screen you're on. B) I have a generic controller and it also fails to efficiently select players. C) In-game, I am told to check Settings if I'm having controller issues, but see ZERO controller settings. D) Once you're on the Select Players screen, if you do have controller issues, there's no way to actually back up a screen to make those adjustments. E) I'd love to tell you how the game plays, but I've never gotten that far. If I'm missing something, I'll always freely admit that the problem is a PEBKAC, but would greatly appreciate feedback (from the developer, though I won't reject comments from the peanut gallery).
