Ladies, Don’t Tempt My Immortality

I’m probably not the target audience for this type of game, but generally speaking, I don’t think it’s very good. This isn’t the first Chinese FMV I’ve tried (the previous one, In Search of You, was terrible, while Ballshit was a bit nicer), but with this one, I found it truly difficult to get invested in any aspect of the production. Sure, the girls are very beautiful, but they’re beautiful in all these games; a couple of them here even act reasonably well. The story is supposed to be what makes the difference, but I didn't find this sect of 'immortality cultivators' interesting at all. There’s no structured or engaging gameplay—just the usual string of choices leading to fairly random outcomes, so no real thinking is required. The romantic side is non-existent, quite elementary and superficial, and there is no erotic content (you don’t even see a kiss!). Is the writing at least funny? Not at all. The comedy tries to rely on the actresses making funny faces, but the jokes are incredibly bland. I played for three hours, reached one ending, and I have no intention of spending any more time on it. Is this an issue with the Chinese FMV genre as a whole? I assume not. Even if it’s not really my thing, the genre could still produce interesting titles, but the individual components of these games simply need to be executed better.

Get the original one, this one has lower image quality, even with 2k dlc. and there's an annoying box that's always on the right side of the screen ruining immersion.

La traducción al español es horrible, parece que es hecha por IA ya que tiene errores muchos errores en su redacción y un problema incomodo cuando hay palabras con acento. Si saben ingles o chino es mejor opción jugarlo... Fuera de eso las actrices están bien bonitas.

It's an OK fmv, maybe kinda weird from the western perspective but is still enjoyable. But I can't give a like to this game until they fix the bug where randomly some scenes freeze, and what's more important, on Steam Deck crashes. I bough this game specially to play it on the SD, so I can't give them a positive review until they fix it.

Очень хорошая игра с милыми девушками, огорчает только кривой перевод, но это лучше, чем если б его вообще не было( привет пять сердец под одной крышей 2 часть). Единственное, что не понравилось в сюжетке, так это то, что чтобы выйти на хорошую концовку, нужно ответить из 3 вопрос правильно только на последней, хотя иногда выборы в них очень нелогичные, что портит впечатление от финала, особенно у шифу. Хороший потенциал у компании, надеюсь они и дальше будут выпускать новые проекты. Однозначно рекомендую,. Постскриптум: Мастер, она же Шифу, самая лучшая девочка.

This was the first time I played a period-piece game, and I’m really glad I did. The story is incredibly rich, and the characters and lore are deep and well developed. I was fully invested from beginning to end. The acting is excellent, and the story is filled with romantic, funny, and even genuinely deep moments of introspection. The “true” ending, unlocked only after achieving all the happy endings with each character, not only adds great replayability but also delivers one of the best endings I’ve ever seen in a game like this. It genuinely moved me, and I was extremely satisfied with how everything concluded. This game was amazing from beginning to end. 10/10! ❤️
