Well it seems like this has been abandoned. Shame as it had huge potential, but the dev has gone silent, Discord is dead and there have been no updates in a year. Avoid until im proven wrong.
Awesome graphics, can't wait for the story mode to come out
How to continue when the systems fail all the time? Leave one habitat for another...then have repair all systems of the habitat you come too...then if you return to the prior habitat...have to do the same?? Says the components and systems pretty limited, subject to failure routinely. How to survive? BUT...that's why it's a Game! Getting better at it as the more I play it.
Dead early access game. Incomplete and very limited gameplay. Had potential.
No more infos from the devs. No story or at least a storyline for the gameplay. You just run around and try to find stuff so u can run around even longer. I was very enthusiasctic about this game earlyer on. But now I am quite disappointed and sad that I baought this game in the early access state where you just got scammed by the devs.
Was fun but needs work and features..But I'm convinced the game is abandoned at this point.
The game looked promising, then was openly put on hold, I check from time to time, appears that it's been almost a year on hold, I'm only giving it a thumbs down because it appears at this point in time, there's no future for this game. I will certainly change my review if the game receives future updates.
My first impression after playing almost an hour - I would recommend having the option for a tutorial. The player is a trained astronaut, albeit stranded on Mars, but the person would surely know some of the basics/mechanics of moving around and locating things (not just WASD), how to fix items, when and how much to eat/drink, etc. I played he first time and had a semi-difficult time since I di not originally see that Q would activate the scanner. A tutorial would have given me the help needed. I di, however, figure these items out. The console (E) has a lot of information and needs some guidance on how to really use it. I di muddle thru. Overall, it gives the feel of being stranded on Mars with pretty good graphics. I will continue to play and update this review. I like the game.
Candescent Games........... You promised us updates but where are they ? Have you mislead us with dev updates ? ( Is it just talk ?) Where is your road map for Lacuna Passage for 2021 ? I purchased the game and I was excited when you took over the game. I hoped that you would have completed it . thank you
Another example of an Early Access gamble gone bad. Dead abandoned game.
