About
Funorbit is a physics-based pixel art space survival simulation where you navigate a vast, procedurally generated universe using realistic orbital mechanics. Master acceleration, deceleration, and gravitational forces to explore planets, moons, and drifting meteoroids.
Gather resources from planets, asteroids, moons, and wreckage to craft essential equipment, repair your ship, and build structures that aid in survival. Construct space stations, upgrade your shuttle, manage your supplies and survive the dangerous animals as you adapt to the ever changing challenges of space.
With immersive physics, dynamic encounters, and a deep crafting system, Funorbit is a test of skill, strategy, and survival in the infinite cosmos.

Funorbit drops you into a procedurally generated universe with a goal that sounds simple on paper and turns out to be anything but: survive. This isn't your typical survival game about dodging zombies or managing hunger bars it's about actually mastering orbital physics. Acceleration, deceleration, gravity, momentum... every planet, moon, and meteoroid you cross has its own motion and spin, and learning to read those trajectories is honestly half the fun. What hooks you is that "start small, build big" progression you begin scavenging scraps off asteroids and wreckage just to patch up your ship, and gradually unlock a crafting system that lets you build gear, put up structures, and eventually full-on space stations. Every upgrade feels earned, not handed to you. Visually, it takes the bold route of going pixel art for something we're used to seeing rendered in 3D and it works surprisingly well, nailing that sense of emptiness and isolation you'd expect from deep space, with a HUD that keeps you locked in on speed, distance, and direction as you thread meteoroids on the fly. It's currently in Early Access, and you can tell there's a real roadmap ahead astronaut customization, more moons and planets, an expanded space gameplay loop. So if you're jumping in now, you're seeing the foundation of something still growing, not a finished product. If you're into survival games with an actual learning curve, that trust the player to figure out its systems instead of holding your hand the whole way, Funorbit deserves the shot. Everything else like the guy testing it since pre-alpha keeps saying is better discovered by playing it yourself.

hello! now my review after playing this game on stream for 3 hours! video to it: https://www.youtube.com/live/ePADkcywHBQ?si=NxP2H_awCx9yUHtY i got the game for free from the great developer! thank you so much for letting me test the game out what i was able to do: get out of the labratory collecting wood and iron defeat a bear get a tactic to skip the bear defeat wolves defeating other flying birds mining iron to repair the labratory getting a quad using quad to get the rest of the iron to make a space rocket making an tree farm finishing the entire rocket and starting it! so i played it alot! and made a lot of proccess in my streams we found some bugs. the developer knows them! they got fixed quickly, some stayed but thats fine! my experience with the game was amazing! lets start with the story: the story rn is pretty basic but it opens alot of ways to turn it around! my viewers even theorized that the one saving us when we die is the thing from the comet hehe i loved it from the beginnig. it not too long and not too short! still a bit more would be great! keep doing! the gameplay itself and the learning curve to go from begin to ending is pretty quick from my side! gameplay is intuitiv and not too overcomplicated! the feeling and all is fitting and makes alot of fun! getting to know how to work around the obstacles was really cool! in the beginning it was really a hassle to get iron! but the developer fixed it while i streamed! and it got wayy better! an option to get different difficulties would be cool! what i liked was the crafting! would love it if it gets mor complicated and more stuff to do! maybe being able to build a cool base some sorts! or a npc that i can save from enemys to exchange ressources! still thank you so much for letting me play the game! i am seeing forward to the develpment of the game! and maybe a future coorporation if the game gets more complicated! lg todestod666
