About
Lacrosse 26 is a lacrosse experience built from the ground up to feel real. Powered by a motion-matching animation system and all-new motion capture, every movement on the field is dynamic. Players don’t just trigger animations, they react. Speed, direction, stick position, and player input all blend in real time, creating gameplay that feels fluid, grounded, and authentic to the sport.
With hundreds of unique animations—from dodges and cuts to passes, checks, and goalie saves—Lacrosse 26 captures the nuance of lacrosse like never before. Whether you’re splitting defenders, snapping off a quick-stick finish, or chasing down a ground ball, every moment in Lacrosse is driven by the player's timing, not canned sequences.
Build your program in Dynasty Mode, where recruiting, player development, and scheduling shape your path from underdog to powerhouse. Develop your roster over multiple seasons, manage resources, and compete against increasingly difficult opponents as you climb the ranks.
Play fast. Play smart. Play real. Play Lacrosse 26.

Love that there is a new lacrosse game, gameplay is quite smooth and definitely solid! Far more difficult than I expected. Which I guess is almost a 1 to 1 with my experience with lacrosse irl hahahah. Graphics could use work some clipping and just a little flat in terms of textures, but I love that the developer knows and wants to improve! He is so into the fandom environment its actually crazy. I have no doubt that this will become an even better game over time! Then price do I think the price is warranted? Maybe, its not a triple AAA title but its also not triple AAA price. Considering the amount of worldwide support of lacrosse I think its more than logical that its more expensive than other sports titles at this quality. I would love to be able to buy this for a few people though and I think I might hold off on that just because of that.
Waste of $35. Player movement sucks, game feels cheap and rushed. $10 at max for this

This is going to be and honest yet important review, I bought this game on Xbox and played for a few hours there. I just played a match on here to make sure it works well. I played lacrosse for basically my entire teens Is this game good? Not really, mid at best. The gameplay is pretty fast and fluid, and the basics of the the game are there. However there are many things missing, the player AI is not good, the passing mechanics are too simple, and other things are just not there. There is a good foundation however for a great game as the basics are pretty well done. The graphics are bleh, and I find the running animation pretty funny. There's no real tutorial, I can go on and on. It is good for some fun every now and then, I plan to keep this game installed so I can play a match every now and then. Is the amount of content worth $35? No, absolutely not However, this is a lacrosse game and the best we're going to get as a lacrosse community. Buying this is an investment in the sport and future lacrosse games. That's why I bought it twice without really a second thought, to invest in the future. The developers, its a small team, clearly care about the sport and the game. They already released a major update fixing some of the problems with the initial console release, and I feel confident that they are committed to fixing more things and adding to the game. We're not going to receive any lacrosse games better than this if we do not support this game, we're probably not going to receive anymore lacrosse games in general if we do not support this. That's the cold hard fact, so I am asking the lacrosse community to support this game. $35 as an investment towards the future of the sport, a few minutes of fun, and hopefully a better more complete game on the horizon. Even if we don't get more, the novelty of a playable lacrosse game again is still great to see. I also tested this game out on my Steam Deck, and it did work. I only played a quarter of a scrimmage match so I didn’t go too deep, but from what I can tell it can be played on that so extra bonus
for a game made by just a few guys, its pretty good
Let me start with saying the game has it's flaws but if you are a fan of lacrosse it is a good time and only going to get better. The dev seems to be taking this seriously and actively working on improvements. I am going to leave a few notes here as well but those have not impacted my fun with the game. I am 40 hours in at this point and the game just simply stated has good bones. Rough around the edges for sure but the bones of a great sports game are there. A few things if the dev reads this, again thank you for the work you have put in and I know these things are already on your radar but just for another note: 1. Gotta try to optimize for pc at some point I have a decent computer but it absolutely melts my rig after a while hottest it has ever gotten and the crashes are infrequent but do occur maybe once a session when trying to start a game or clicking into franchise. 2. Computer behavior. Once the defense and offense starts really moving like a lacrosse team this game is going to have endless hours of playtime for so many people. Right now the defense just seems lost and off ball offense is rough. Just a few basic principles of basic offensive strategies and defensive footwork and this game goes to the next level 3. Increase name and picture options. Not a fan of AI myself but whatever you need to do to make the name pool and picture pool more varied so the same names and profile pictures do not keep repeating. 4. Offensive variety. Different shot types, different dodging types things like stepdowns or quick sticks around the crease will make offense feel amazing. Maybe having the ability to choose the shot type or release angle like low to high or sidearm on the sweep. Mixed with maybe a bit more intuitive dodging system, I do not know how hard it would be but I know sports games fans would love if the dodging was able to be done with the right analog stick with a variety of motion based movement but I am unsure how difficult that would be to implement so main focus here is shooting. 5. I personally think the game would benefit from being slowed down. Not the pace of play but the general movement speed of players, putting more weight behind the actions making it feel like movement or checks actually have gravity to them. Again thanks for a great game and I look forward to seeing to grow in the future!

I really love the idea of a lacrosse game after all these years and its amazing to see the amount of passion and heart that goes into development but i do firmly believe that its not at the point where id pay 35 for waht the game has to offer but i will most definitely buy it again once its on sale
As a lacrosse player myself, this game is amazing, sure it has some bugs but its still a great game and i love it
lax is life
