About
Labyrinth of Aetheria is an RPG inspired by classic 3D dungeon crawlers of the 1980s and 1990s, such as Wizardry and Might & Magic. Experience the tension and excitement of classic dungeon RPGs through intense battles and the discovery of rare equipment. While preserving the atmosphere of retro games, the game also includes an auto-mapping system and adjustments that make it easier to play with modern sensibilities.
The story takes place in the frontier town of Aetheria, where a legendary Holy Grail is said to lie hidden underground. Many adventurers gather to seek treasure and challenge the dangerous dungeon. Your goal is to face many trials and reach the Holy Grail.

The town offers many facilities useful for adventures, such as item trading at shops, spell learning at the magic guild, and secret tool transactions at the thief guild. Quests can be undertaken at the adventurer's guild, and various clues for dungeon exploration can be found at the tavern.

Items found in the dungeons can be appraised, either by the adventurers' abilities or the town's appraiser, and registered in an item encyclopedia. This allows players to enjoy the collection aspect while progressing through the dungeon conquest.

Adventurers can choose from a wide range of classes, from basic ones like fighters, thieves, priests, and mages, to advanced classes like paladins, samurais, ninjas, and sages. Each class comes with unique skills that influence party composition, strategy, and dungeon conquests. By changing classes, adventurers can combine different skills, creating unique characters.

The game features a custom portrait system that allows players to replace adventurer portraits with their own images. This lets you personalize your party and enjoy a more immersive dungeon-crawling experience.

it's a good little game. I'm a few hours in and enjoying it so far. Lots of classes to choose from and you can swap in and out characters whenever you're in town. I'm looking forward to seeing where it lands at full release.
I've almost 100% the game, and it's been pretty fun. I was surprised how deep the dungeon goes. Also, the game opened up when I thought it would be over. I'm enjoying chasing loot items, (which the game has a pretty large collection of compared to like the old Final Fantasy games) I like you have to explore a lot, some parts you will have to come back to later to progress. I like that you can get a special reward once a day of your choosing to make your runs easier. I like the classes can be changed and you still keep your hp or mana and if you were a spell caster you still keep the spells you learned. The only things I have not liked were usability issues. It's super tedious having to open menu screen and having to navigate to a specific character, down to a specific "bag" to then manually filter through to find an item and send it to your character that is often full inventory already and having to move one thing to the "bag". This happens almost every fight. If they removed the artificial inventory limit so you could just click on and use the object in a couple of clicks it would be awesome. As far as balance goes. I think early game felt appropriately difficult, the end game feels brutally hard in some encounters, and you can't run away all the time so it sucks when you are in a fight you know you're going to die but have to fight anyways. Overall I think its worth it and the developer has already had a couple of patches, worth checking out!
