Fun bullet hell game and well worth the price tag. Unlike what other reviewers have said, it is NOT like Vampire Survivors and similar games, although it does have similarites. You have to press a button to attack. The game auto-aims for you at the closest enemy. When you attack your movement slows down (unless you get the upgrade to let you move and shoot with no slowdown during the run). There are only about 6-12 enemies per room with a boss every 4 rooms. Enemies will sometimes drop chests that give you a choice of 3 upgrades (such as faster attack speed, fire multiple shots, increase your health, gain a sidekick that auto-attacks, etc.). Sometimes after you clear a room a merchant will appear that allows you to buy items, such as an upgrade chest, 1 heart of health refill, a vial of mana that adds a large chunk to your special gauge, or an extra life. Sometimes after you defeat a boss a devil will appear. Making a deal with him by standing close for a few seconds causes you to lose some health and/or max health and gain 3 upgrade chests. For the most part, the combat feels fun and fair. For example, slimes shrink in size right before they shoot to clearly indicate the attack. The simple color scheme makes it easier to know what's a hazard and what's not. Some of the boss fights feel a little unfair, but I also suspect the unfair moments might be because I haven't figured them out yet. For example, I thought the 4-way laser attacks were unfair at first since there was no indication of when they'd happen. Then I noticed that they always start facing straight up/down/left/right and rotate clockwise 90 degrees. Once you know that, you know to never be directly above, below, or to the sides of the boss during the fight. If you like bullet hell and rogue-lite games then you'll likely enjoy this one.
I LOVE this game. This is an absolute steal for $2. A very satisfying yet tense bullet hell with high replayability. Kudos to the developer!
Addicted game that I've played before on a sort of alpha stage. And happy to be literally a mini Boss.
I really like looking through roguelike games because I love the concept of getting stronger and stronger as you progress through the levels, but you also have to think about what upgrades would suit you best for your current run, and this game really gave me what I like about roguelikes. Very fun and entertaining, I wish the game was a little longer but for $2 it is an amazing game! I would totally pay for a sequel with more levels and upgrades, if one ever comes out.
Short and solid little roguelite. It has that Vampire Survivors style shooting, where the aiming is done automatically. Stylized graphics. It took me about 3 hours to unlock everything and beat the end.
Very fun little game after a day of work. It work in Linux.
This is more fun than it has a right to be.
Solid game. On the bullet hell side of the "twin" stick shooter genre. The hard mode is quite challenging. I really like how shooting makes you slow down. It adds another consideration to the moment-to-moment decision making that makes this game (and others like it) so heart-pumping.
Very challenging and simple game, I enjoyed a lot
