im too dumb for that
"Kreeps" is a basic TD game with a couple of interesting twists and gimmicks around the tower upgrade process, which is all fine and welcome, but the technical implementation quality is -1 out of 10 here. This features really godawful pixelcrap "art" instead of real graphics. It's hard to say if this was because the developer didn't have the skill to do the job of creating 3D visuals, or couldn't afford to hire someone who does, but it also doesn't matter. What matters is that this looks much worse than most other games because of that decision, and that's a major deterrent to gamers. Games like Terraria and Stardew Valley succeeded despite the bad graphics, not because of them. The developer chose not to do the job of a real game developer and create meaningful bespoke levels, narrative based gameplay progression and so on. Instead, they decided that "Procgen IS content!" and lazily tried to use procgen algorithms to create infinite, samey, repetitive, soulless levels, because that's a lot less work. As a result of this poor decision, the game gets tired and repetitive almost immediately. Developers must learn that procgen is a terrible substitute for creating real content. It should not be used as "ez-mode" for content creation, as the developer tried to do here. On the matter of pricing and value for gamers, most "free" games on Steam aren't really free. There's often nasty mobile app cash shops, or content locked behind DLC, or donations being requested, or any other number of shady pricing schemes that could mislead gamers, but in this case I'm glad to say this really does appear to be a fully free game. Nothing demonstrates a developers belief in themselves and their work than giving it away without any remuneration. This is a service to themselves, and the gaming industry, and should be applauded. Of course, just because something is free, doesn't necessarily mean it's valuable, or something you might want to spend your time on. Despite having no up-front cost, this failed to appeal to the 120 million+ gamers on Steam. SteamDB showed the game peaked at only 4 concurrent players... this is a dismal public reception. This was so bad they couldn't even give it away. Bearing in mind that free games don't add +1 to your game collector count, should you bother adding this to your library and downloading it? Not this time. This isn't worth downloading. While this won't cost you any money, you get what you pay for, and sometimes, even when the game is free, it's still not enough.

The game is more fun then I thought it would be after first observation, I enjoy tower defense but do to the graphical styling decided on by the developer I thought it was going to be very bare bones. I found the card based system of picking your land type and which buffs your enemy would have to be very fun because it allows you to decide how you would like your challenge to grow each round. The characters also were fun with their strength and weakness settings and it feels very balanced as far as not ramping up and instantly being overwhelming and same on the other end it was not too easy. I highly recommend anyone who likes tower defense to try is and maybe you will be pleasantly surprised as I was.

1 can developer add wiki/ index of all tower and buf/skill and enemy and terra information plz? this game is good 2 the kreeps' attribute weakness, how did it work? 2x damage? by tower ?! 3 i can' check the total attribute the monsters have and the skill i picked at 20+ th turns , can u add this UI to check? this matters, related to stragegy, also point 1 matters too otherwise i have to try and error so it cost times to try different style gameplay and to decide strategy 4 why there aern't gamespeed button? for example, i can change to 3x speed if the kreeps are far away, and i can change to 0.25x speed to observe the battle and the damages 5 how's the total length of 1 terra path ? no clear data, monster movement speed , on path, there should be some informations of terra path too , 1 & 3 can heavily increase the playability, many strategy and informations at start and during game this game i like variety terra and tower the kreeeps and tower is in a fantasy style and colorful i like that also kreep name and pixel art is good terra too, tower u can put much mind on improving their art (picture) to let them match their name more and maybe spawn minions /human soldier like kingdom rush
постоянно проскакивает Крыса!!!
Although I'm really not smart enough to figure out how to get to the end, it's a good game. My computer is a potato and it never crashed playing this so I appreciate that. The only thing I would really add is some sort of milestone reward system so inept players like myself could actually finish.
Torn on this one, but in the end the things it is lacking overwhelms the interesting bits. First off, the map. It grows each turn, but the player has no say in the direction it goes. It just becomes a long twisty tube. On the plus side however, you do get to pick the kind of terrain it will be. Each type of terrain gives the critters a buff. Not sure if that buff is only when they are in that terrain, if they keep it after they leave that terrain, or get it right from the start. The player also gets to pick one of two types of creatures to join in the onslaught, the creatures being new-terrain specific, if you pick dessert you might get camel, if you pick a cold terrain you might get penguins. The choice is always really obvious though, as you see their stats and just pick the weaker one. At the end of the wave you also get to pick a buff for your side. One is a weapon which you can use for tactical attacks, several boost one of the tower types, and the last one is an amount of money which goes up the more times you have picked additional coins. The monsters are mildly interesting, but I didn't see anything really deep, creatures always follow the path, none seem to heal others (some do regen themselves) none go invisible or anything. There are seven (I think) types of towers. I am not sure if their damage is impacted by the type of creature. They do get more expensive from left to right across the bottom of the screen. I did see fire towers could get burning. Each tower can be updated twice it seems. The update might change if it is single target or AOE. It might also change the area you attack, square or rectangular. There is no target selection, which is a shame. And that's about it really. I played one game thru, and there is no strategic upgrades, which is sad. Also my personal peeve, no fluff. Sadly. When you put it together, is a sub-standard TD game. It does work, so only one thumb down, the game simply lacks the kinds of choices and decisions that would make for an entertaining game.
