super freaky cool little characters with very fun side quests. i love the absurdity. i also like that the action parts are easy because i'm an incompetent little chud.
It's a turn-based RPG, but it also lets you fully immerse yourself in a world that feels like a walking simulator. I love exploring the strange landscapes and talking to the odd residents of Kowloon. The story feels like it's going in a dark, serious direction, and I can't wait for the full release. The direction and style also clearly take inspiration from "The Silver Case," which is honestly amazing.

Aesthetically in every regard it's a slam dunk. UI/UX/design wise it's a mess. Clunky and simplistic at best, tedious and cryptic in the bad way at worst. kinda blows my mind it doesn't have a map but maybe most people don't need or want one. I've played the games this is emulating, and yeah it hits the notes somewhat but again mechanically and design wise it's lacking the quickness and relies solely on vibe. This isn't even getting into the narrative, which from what I played, is just you being a doormat to some edgelord. I get that's the point, but it kinda sucks you just have no recourse but to deal with this kids crap. im assuming between that and these hints at your history together in flashbacks theyre trying to set up this tragic story with him and why actually you totally should still empathize with him guys fr fr but like... nah man. he's a ♥♥♥♥. why dont i just shoot him? I see people comparing this narratively to stuff like Silver Case and that's giving it way too much credit. Silver Case has unlikeable characters and anti-heroes but they still (mostly) act like human beings. Sergio is a bad anime edgelord subplot. ANYWAYS. you're probably going wow man this guy's mad. why does he still recommend it? well it's free for one, and again i really think aesthetically it is THAT good. the art and environment team nailed that. and it has a better and more genuine feeling anime opening than most anime have had in the last ten years. so yeah i still absolutely recommend it, but treat it like a vibe and ditch it when youre done with Sergio's ♥♥♥♥, or just keep playing and pretend it's got another story entirely.
this game is peak. It shouldn't be free probably, cause its really fun and over the top
such an awesome lil gem :) eager to support a full release
can't believe this is a free game, it was great
