I can't believe this game is free. Beautiful low-poly Hong Kong inspired environments with tons of neon signs, old concrete walls, and trash everywhere. A city populated entirely by suicidal drug addicts, aliens, and weird little guys. You're an errand boy for a mob and you spend your doing smocaine with your ♥♥♥♥♥♥ friend and doomscrolling image boards. The visual style of some of the later parts of the game reminded me of Mouthwashing of all things. I really love just dark and weird this whole game is. You'll get some dialogue from a talking plant about the weird slave animals that live in the sewers, see a cat smoking a cigarette, and talk to a guy in Roman armor that it looks like he got from Party City about how his dad is dead. There's such a particular and wonderful balance of absurdism, surrealism, and nihilism at play here. I was constantly surprised by just how bizarre or bleak this game was willing to go. Everyone talks about the actual gameplay of this game in their review, or the visuals, but to me the best part is the writing and overall worldbuilding. The combat is really basic, super easy, and barely utilized, but the place this game is set in is magical. I really don't understand people who find the characters to be annoying, or the controls to be too clunky. It's supposed to be strange and off putting. If you think you'd enjoy a first person dungeon crawling rpg with creatures from Hylics hanging out in an urban Hell, this is for you. I can't wait for the actual full game to come out, whenever that may be. Definitely keep your eyes peeled for that as well because I'm sure it'll be just like this but even better.

This game is too cool for me to play. I don't know exactly how to articulate that any other way. It's slick and stylish with a deep desire to say "I'm generally edgy and irreverent", but it really feels like there's something more bubbling just under the surface. Somewhere between Omori and Persona, I think this has a lot of potential and could be really fun, but for someone who isn't me.
What a cool, nicely written, beautiful game. Everyone should play this. This has as much interesting and thoughtful content as any cult hit rpg. How is this game free? If you like anything "netcore", weird, 1999 era psychological cyberpunk anime, anything like that, this is the jam. I did more in two hours than in any other game i've played, got like 3 different endings, and barely got a quarter of the achievements? Can't wait for the "full game" that's supposed to follow this up. What a talented game designer, what good taste.
Effected me in a way I didn't expect it to. I was expecting something edgy and miserable, and don't get me wrong that's an aspect. But these brief tender moments just make it feel human. Really excited to see what else this dev does.
Excelente jogo. Claramente inspirado RPGS de Playstation One dos anos 90, Dungeon Crawlers, Body Horror, e em Cyberpunk, Shin Megami e Persona, com toques de Naked Luch de William S. Burrows (1959)
Vibes are excellent, core story is decent, a lot of it's humor is just chan ♥♥♥♥ regurgitated. This can be endearing, if it's a small portion of the writing but it's unfortunately it's almost all of it. The combat is pretty meh, I never felt particularly challenged. As a demo this is solid, definitely worth the hour or two it'll take to run through it. Look forward to checking out whatever Studio [notes.] does next.
One of the best story games since god created video games, the story doesn’t end when you finish the first play through, and i understood something, the game understands who i am like for example the tony remember the little girl but the game knows that’s the players don’t - Soo when you play it for the second time you well play a whole new chapter About tony , his friend, and the little girl . This is just one thing you well experience in just the second play through . Allot more examples ahead when you experience this masterpiece - And one of the best things also in this game is the soundtrack the vibe of the city and the comedy. just wow! Can’t wait for your next project
Una aventura inusual pero interesante. Está buena para darle una probadita
