About

The bureau of Federal Boxing Investigation welcomes you as our newest recruit! Truth be told, you've arrived just in time. The country faces a threat greater than any we've ever seen: karens.
Grocery store karens, gym karens, scam artist karens, heck, even sovereign citizens! Something has corrupted the once good people of this great country, and it's spreading fast. It's your job to find out what. Every second we stand here gawpin', we lose more ground. Another manager eats an uppercut. Another cat gets stolen. Another HOA fine gets assessed!
Now that all laws are enforced by boxing, we need you to get out into the field and track this menace down. You are authorized to serve swift justice with a license to punch. Fight your way across the nation and even the world if it means completing your mission. If you've played Punch-Out!!, it's kind of like that but in real life.

Knockout 2 pits you against the worst of society and the only way out is with your fists. The cable company stops giving you the discounted rate? That's a boxing match. Someone yields at an empty roundabout? That's a boxing match, too. In fact, all laws, court cases, and skimping out on sandwich toppings are resolved through combat in a world where the legal system has been replaced with boxing. The road to victory might not be easy, but it will be hilarious.

Enjoy the new generation of Knockout's unique take on the Punch-Out!! formula. Connect your punches to gain power! Use that power to throw devastating special moves. Land your special moves to completely regain your stamina. Keep up with this fun and frantic juggling act and your opponent won't stand a chance!
Each opponent is a puzzle to be picked apart. From door-to-door salesmen to bridezillas, learn each opponent’s fighting style and expertly clap back. Use perfect-blocking and counter punches to dominate each match like a symphony conductor.

Unlock new gear to customize your boxer and save the world! With each defeat, the dark karenic influence grows stronger. Equip new clothing and items to power up your punches, change your play style, and armor up against the legions of the empathy-impaired.

After enjoying the three part main campaign story, test your skills against special missions and daily challenges. Claim supremacy in timed trials for each character. And yes, flesh out the game's lore by completing achievements to fill in your investigation corkboard.

Classic arcade boxing action with tight timing and even tighter controls in the style of Punch-Out!!
A wild journey across the globe solving everyone's problems. With your fists.
A single-player story every bit as comedically scathing as the first game.
Fully customizable boxer with unlockable gear.
Extra challenges with Steam Achievements for each character.
Refined core game mechanics building upon the risk and reward boxing style of the first game.
Full keyboard and gamepad support.
Complete in-game tutorial to teach you the boxing basics.
Tentacles. Lots of tentacles.
At least one duck.

Love this game. However, I'm surprised with how other people managed to complain about the game because of their skill issue, so let me clear some things out. Have you guys EVER played a Punch-Out game before? Punch-Out is a puzzle game, so is this one too. You need to figure it out and solve the puzzle. You also need to gain a strategy, hell, that's why speedrunning exist, Punch-Out (including games like Wrath of the Karen and Election Year Knockout) are based around strategy. Dip your toes a bit on strategizing, restart the level if you need to, and keep your cool and just go all out. Time windows are small, but it's also like that in the actual Punch-Out. This is no different. Time your punches, dodge and block a punch if you need to, and beat your opponents to the punch. I'm also kind of wondering if you guys played Election Year Knockout or a Punch-Out game, complaining about characters being a tank yet not actually trying to solve it lmfao, it's a learning process If you can't fathom not being able to throw hands and be the better boxer, I don't think Punch-Out or ANY OTHER GAME related to this genre isn't for you, I'm sorry. Best game ever 10/10 would play again, even better than Election Year Knockout lel
O jogo é divertido, ele é meio curto e isso pode ser um impeditivo, em geral é um bom game mas ta caro
there is a bug where the game can not process and keeps having an error and I can't play the game and it SUCKS. any help on how to stop this from happening?
Knockout Kings 2 is actually a pretty fun game for about 5 minutes at a time. After that, I find myself getting bored with the gameplay loop and the grind. But before I dive into that, what exactly is Knockout 2? Aside from being the sequel to Knockout? It’s a simple arcade boxing game where you take the role of an agent from the Bureau of Federal Boxing Investigation. We are told that the country is facing many threats, which is where this game's humor starts coming into play. Anyway, the world is under threat from all types of Karens. Armed with our fists and a set of used gloves, we take to the grocery store or gym, and sometimes a call center, to take out these Karens. The game is best with a controller, which Steam tells you before you get into the game. But I decided to play with a keyboard and mouse, primarily a keyboard. The game controls fine, and frankly, looks great. It just couldn’t hold my attention. I found no joy in grinding for money, and while the jokes were funny, the whole cast is made up of stale characters. There was nothing to keep me here, not even the gameplay loop. Knockout Kings 2 works amazingly on the Steam Deck, which is where I was playing before moving over to my main computer. If you like arcade boxing games, this one might be for you.
It's a simple, fun Punch-Out!!-like game where you face a bunch of "Karens" (and other stereotypes) who weasel in any advantage they can while you yourself are a clean, by-the-book boxer. Even if you beat the main campaign, there's a challenge mode ("Missions") where you can customize the fights to your liking, or face some rotating preset missions, so there is definitely a replayability factor. There's a free demo and the game is relatively lightweight (1.59 GB for the demo). It even runs on my dinosaur toaster from 2009, so you have no reason not to at least give it a go.
I played the everloving [$!$!] out of Punch-Out, and if you enjoyed that then you WILL enjoy this. The format builds on what Punch-Out invented, and it's AWESOME. It's still in early access, and for me personally the game freezes quite often, however even the current product was well worth my money.
I beat Harold and Gerald on almost max settings (Smelling Salts at 0.25x to make the fight possible), and I'm preeetty sure nobody else has ever done that before. So if being better than me is some encouragement...go wild.
The gear system is pretty cool, although it does feel somewhat lacking in coolness when it comes to the crappier items. Also play Election Year Knockout too. That game is similarly cool.

I absolutely adore this game, but in my opinion it has one major issue: the final boss fight. Spoiler warning for the tentacle lady boss. The fight itself is interesting, and I don’t mind dying while learning mechanics through trial and error. Eventually, you figure out how to get her tentacles tangled so you can actually damage her and push her into a lower health state. That part felt fair enough. My problem starts when you finally get her health down to zero. You keep attacking her, only for her to suddenly heal back up. Then it happens again. I eventually had to look up what I was doing wrong and discovered that you’re supposed to use the super punch to progress the fight. That part is somewhat on me for not realizing it sooner, but after that the mechanics become even less clear. From what I understand, after using the super punch you’re supposed to perfectly dodge her giant hand slam, gain another charge from that, and then super punch her again to finally win. The issue is that the game doesn’t communicate this very well at all, and I could never consistently tell if I was even doing it correctly. Another big problem is that I genuinely cannot seem to get the second super charge no matter what I do. Whether I’m mistiming the dodge or missing another mechanic entirely, the game gives very little feedback, which makes the ending of the fight feel more confusing than challenging. I don’t want the game to completely spell everything out for me, but I do think the fight could use a little more guidance, visual feedback, or better hints so players can actually understand what the game expects from them. The rest of the game is incredible, which is why this final fight stood out to me so much.
This game reminded me of the old school Punchout game on Nintendo, where you are putting up your dukes! This game is SO FUN. Dialogue has some pretty hilarious writing, animation is also great, and story progression and the villainous Karens get harder.
