I have to put more time into this, but my initial impression is Knightin'+ is a solid Zelda clone. The graphics are very bright and vibrant. Knightin'+ has good controls, and a great Zelda feel. If you are a fan of games in the genre, grab this when you can. It's a good pick up.

[th]Aspecto[/th][th]Puntuación (0-10)[/th][th]Comentario[/th]

Jugabilidad8Acción rápida y satisfactoria; se siente “pick up & play”.

Música7Acompaña bien: no molesta, no roba show, te mantiene en mood.

It doesn't do much, but what it does, it does well. Except some of the hitboxes. Overall, it's okay. 100% achievement completion boils down to 2 playthroughs, one for opening every chest and another one for a deathless speedrun. It's an alright challenge that doesn't need too much practice.
Exactly what you would expect from the trailer. Nothing groundbreaking, but a decent Zelda clone (sorry, devs no shade intended ;)
Nifty little Zelda-like dungeon crawler with four increasingly-lenghty dungeons. It has a nice diversity of monsters and gear you can use to decide how to deal with them (all equipped simultaneously, to boot). The puzzles and bosses are decently challenging. Worth a go!
The art, the action-adventure and the retro feel were all on point, but unfortunately the sokoban style puzzles were an absolute chore and almost made me give up on this game. If you still want to play this, I would recommend using the dev's puzzle guide to get through them. There is no gradual puzzle difficulty. It is simply level one in the first dungeon and then level 100 in the next one and so on. If it was just the code puzzles and some light, gradual slide puzzles, it wouldn't be the headache that it is.
Knightin’+ is a compact action-adventure dungeon crawler that embraces its retro inspirations with confidence, delivering a focused experience built around exploration, puzzle solving, and light combat. Developed and published by Muzt Die Studios, the game positions itself as a modern homage to classic top-down adventure titles, particularly those that emphasized clever dungeon design over sprawling worlds or complex progression systems. From the moment it begins, it establishes a playful tone and a clear gameplay identity, aiming to provide a satisfying journey without overstaying its welcome. Players step into the boots of Sir Lootalot, a knight whose quest revolves around delving into a series of handcrafted dungeons filled with enemies, traps, and environmental puzzles. The structure is straightforward and intentionally familiar: rooms connect in compact layouts, keys and switches gate progress, and exploration is rewarded with new tools and access to previously unreachable areas. Rather than overwhelming players with options, the game focuses on clarity and pacing, allowing each dungeon to introduce new ideas and challenges at a manageable rhythm. Combat in Knightin’+ is simple but responsive, reinforcing the game’s emphasis on positioning and timing rather than complex mechanics. Enemies are distinct in behavior, encouraging players to learn patterns and adapt their approach rather than rely on brute force. Early encounters ease players into the flow, while later rooms and boss fights demand sharper reactions and a better understanding of enemy tells. Boss encounters, in particular, stand out as memorable moments, blending pattern recognition with environmental awareness to create satisfying tests of skill without feeling punishing. Puzzle design is one of the game’s strongest aspects. Many rooms require players to think carefully about movement, object placement, and timing, often combining multiple mechanics in clever ways. These puzzles rarely feel arbitrary; instead, they reward observation and experimentation, reinforcing a sense of mastery as players learn how the game’s systems interact. Occasional backtracking with newly acquired abilities adds depth to the exploration without making the dungeons feel overly convoluted. Visually, the game adopts a colorful pixel art style that evokes the charm of 16-bit era classics. Sprites are expressive, environments are easy to read, and animations give enemies and objects a lively presence. While the presentation is intentionally modest, it is cohesive and thoughtfully designed, contributing to the game’s nostalgic appeal without feeling outdated. Sound effects and music complement this aesthetic, providing upbeat and atmospheric accompaniment that supports the action without becoming distracting. Narrative takes a back seat to gameplay, with the story presented in a lighthearted, minimal fashion. Dialogue and context exist primarily to frame the adventure rather than drive emotional arcs or complex storytelling. This choice aligns with the game’s retro sensibilities, allowing players to focus on mechanics and discovery rather than exposition. While those seeking deep lore or character development may find the narrative sparse, others will appreciate the streamlined approach that keeps the momentum steady. In terms of length and scope, Knightin’+ is a deliberately concise experience. The adventure can be completed in a relatively short amount of time, making it well suited for players who enjoy self-contained games that respect their time. This brevity also means there is limited long-term progression or replay incentive beyond revisiting favorite dungeons or refining completion times. However, the tight design ensures that the game remains engaging throughout its runtime, rarely padding itself with filler content. Overall, Knightin’+ succeeds by focusing on what it does best: delivering a polished, nostalgic dungeon-crawling experience built around smart puzzles, accessible combat, and charming presentation. It may not push boundaries or introduce groundbreaking mechanics, but it doesn’t need to. For players who appreciate classic adventure design distilled into a compact, modern indie package, Knightin’+ offers a rewarding and enjoyable journey that captures the spirit of its inspirations while standing confidently on its own.
🛡️ Sir Lootalot 🗡️
