About
This game is a free CONCEPT demo created to showcase early ideas for Knight’s Path and does NOT represent the final game!!!
The Tournament is a short (2-3 hour long) medieval action RPG featuring challenging combat, an immersive progression system, and a nice little story. It serves both as an announcement and a teaser for the forthcoming open-world RPG Knight's Path, which is currently in active development.
You begin your journey with nothing. Once you acquire a weapon and learn how to fight, you can enter the tournament, where you test your might and earn rewards. These rewards can be used to purchase new armors and weapons, enhancing your capabilities for future battles. The tournament consists of four rounds and pits you against eleven unique NPCs, each with their own distinct fighting style, including the reigning, undefeated champion of the arena.
Are you ready to face this challenge?
Or, if you need a moment to relax, you can partake in various activities, like chilling by the fireplace or forming a heartwarming bond with a local cat.
Why are we releasing it for free on Steam? Here are our honest reasons:
We aim to make our game as immersive and enjoyable as possible, and for that, we need your help and feedback! Is there anything you'd change or add to enhance your gaming experience? What features do you love, and what would you like to see improved? Tell us, and help us shape the game!

Its alright, but you'll notice the AI voices and clonky movement. But maybe itll get better
Great foundation that i feel could benifit from direction control of swings, spamming light attack in between parries and dodges gets repetitive fast, if you could control the direction of your swings and blocks i feel like it would add a lot more depth to the combat. the combat also feels a bit fast paced and stylized, more akin to games like the witcher 3 or dark souls rather than kingdom come deliverance or mount and blade, things like charge thrusts look highly stylized and not realistic. Also the wandering knight is beatable.

!SPOILER! Tato hra působí neuvěřitelně, protože z kluka, který ani neumí pořádně držet meč se za 4 dny změní v bojovníka, který dokázal porazit v turnaji jedny z nejlepších bojovníků. Jinak je hra fajn.
Pretty good, but I have to say the unmarked unblockable attacks from the champion are very mean, especially when they happen at unexpected points in a whirlwind combo. For them to then insta stun you as well is just cruel.
wow just perfect if you like fighting games in the past
The Grand Champion literally locks you into an animation every time you get the upper hand. AI is literally built to be unbeatable in hardcore mode.
Gówna straszne jakiś chłop z 10 koronami se przylazł bez zbroi i bez broni i myśli se że pokona doświadczonego rycerza w pełnej zbroi o i sterowanie jest ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥!!!
PROS 1- Free 2-Good combat foundation CONS 1-Ai voice is disgustingly horrible 2-Writing is childish. Too much emphasis on honorable knight fantasy. It tastes like a bad hollywood movie 3-Combat inputs are not responsive and intuitive enough WISHES 1- I hope the full game leaves childish honorable knight fantasy behind or, at least, gives us options to chose different paths 2- I hope combat input responsiveness increases 3- I hope they find enough funding to hire pro voice actors 4- I hope they tone down the silly monologs/dialogs
it's a really good game, a work in progress but a cool combat system takes a minute to get used to \, however its still fun and i cant wait for the full version
pretty good i wishj they finish the game its trully one of a kind
