About
This game is a free CONCEPT demo created to showcase early ideas for Knight’s Path and does NOT represent the final game!!!
The Tournament is a short (2-3 hour long) medieval action RPG featuring challenging combat, an immersive progression system, and a nice little story. It serves both as an announcement and a teaser for the forthcoming open-world RPG Knight's Path, which is currently in active development.
You begin your journey with nothing. Once you acquire a weapon and learn how to fight, you can enter the tournament, where you test your might and earn rewards. These rewards can be used to purchase new armors and weapons, enhancing your capabilities for future battles. The tournament consists of four rounds and pits you against eleven unique NPCs, each with their own distinct fighting style, including the reigning, undefeated champion of the arena.
Are you ready to face this challenge?
Or, if you need a moment to relax, you can partake in various activities, like chilling by the fireplace or forming a heartwarming bond with a local cat.

Camera physics are awful and made me nauseous and I'm not even in VR. Final fight is not only nearly impossible but no fun whatsoever. Getting oneshot while clearly out of range is not really the experience you are looking for. AI voice actors and wonky movement is not helping either.
great demo nix the AI va work (prefer reading text myself) and honestly woulda been worth 5 bucks tight little duel game absolutely recommend and looking forward to the full game
I barely could play the game because it uses AI voice acting and is really bad, I can't stomach it so it ruined my first impression of this demo for the soon to be released main game. I will wait for the full release to see what happens but if AI voice acting is also use in the main game then is a NO for me. I have this game recommended by twitter uses that are decent people that like medieval history but the usage of AI was not mentioned. Regardless of limitation and toleration when AI is used as a placeholder that can easily be removed, I think using AI voice acting is inexcusable to be used even in a free demo.

I am pretty sure they used AI to write this game, in which case it is not worth your time and not worth paying for its full release.
American voice acting and kinda janky
I really wanted to say something good, I was looking forward to it. Up until you fight the guy with telephone pole for a sword I thought it all looked good. It's free thats all I can say in favor of this. If you are looking for a poorly made Mortal Kombat clone this is your game, or just go play Mortal Kombat and save yourself the pain. I checked this game out after I heard the woke lefties hate it. "traditional Knight game etc. Right away a women in knight armour fighting me. Also Why are you some peasant showing up unarmed? In what sense is that traditional? No one would let some unnamed begger with no money fight in a chivalry tournament. At least KCD punishes you for being out of place. The fact that the devs are trying to ride KCD success is sad. This game is never going to come close to even a mod from bannorlord let alone KCD. AI voices. I'm sure you could find a few people online to read some lines for a mention in the credits and a free copy of the full game. Combat is trash. I use mouse and keyboard for all games including KCD and I don't have any trouble. This game however is so janky. Constant miss dodge eg I click to dodge and the game doesn't register it 1 out of 5 times. Like others have pointed out the enemy special attacks kind of blend together. I would love to just switch my stance as I point my mouse like other successful melee fighting games. War of the roses is old and got it right. The first mount and blade games are older and they got it right. Not sure how at this point you can make combat so unemersive. I'm guessing the game will still have AI "acting" when it comes out that is enough to not buy it for me let alone the horible combat.

Been wanting to try this out, as soon as I saw a very familiar Twitter post... ;) So here we are! First time playing this tonight and I have to say, I really enjoyed this 3 hour concept demo! I understand that this is to show off for their upcoming game, Knights Path. And honestly, I'm really impressed! It definitely has some edges that need smoothing off, especially when it comes to the combat. Repeatedly spamming light attacks did get a tad bit annoying at times so I hope to see a little more versatility. and the UI system could do with a little bit of work. (EDIT - 12:04pm 21/07/26 - I also forgot to put, the voice acting could maaaaaayvbe do with a little work but I understand that this is just a demo and I am aware that not a lot of people are working on the game. But I am always one to be emersed whether it be certain sounds, atmosphere, characters, gameplay e.g.) But as a demo to show off, this game has so much potential for a well crafted, indie RPG! Honestly, 3.6 hours well spent! Thank you Jan Tichota & Aamn Chahrour for creating the concept demo and the best of luck for the Knights Path game! Now saved to my Wishlist and I shall be keeping my very close eyes on Knights Path in the near future... :)
Its alright, but you'll notice the AI voices and clonky movement. But maybe itll get better
