About
Build - Explore - Defend - Conquer
A shroud of mystery envelops these uncharted medieval lands where ancient monuments, relics and mythical creatures await. Echoes of bygone eras speak of past greatness and in Kingdom Two Crowns, part of the award-winning franchise Kingdom, you embark on an adventure as the Monarch. In this side-scrolling journey atop your steed, you recruit loyal subjects, build your kingdom and protect your crown from the Greed, monstrous creatures looking to steal your kingdom's treasures.
Journey alone or together - in Kingdom Two Crowns, a duo of Monarchs can work cooperatively to build and forge a Kingdom that stands the test of time.
Lay the foundation of a mighty Kingdom with towering walls and protecting towers while cultivating prosperity through building farms and recruiting villagers. In Kingdom Two Crowns expanding and growing your Kingdom grants access to new units and technologies.
Venture into the unknown beyond the protection of your borders, through secluded forests and ancient ruins to seek treasures and hidden knowledge to aid your quest. Who knows what legendary artifacts or mythological beings you will find.
As the night falls, shadows come to life and the monstrous Greed assaults your kingdom. Rally your troops, muster your courage, and steel yourself, for each night will demand ever-growing feats of tactical mastermind. Deploy archers, knights, siege weapons, and even newfound Monarch abilities and artifacts to hold against the waves of Greed.
As the monarch, lead assaults against the source of the Greed to secure your islands. Send your groups of soldiers to clash with the enemy. A word of caution: make sure your troops are prepared and sufficient in numbers, as the Greed will not go down without a fight.

★★★★★ Kingdom Two Crowns is a side-scrolling strategy game that combines kingdom management, exploration, survival, and tower defense into a simple yet deeply rewarding experience. You play as a monarch tasked with expanding your kingdom, recruiting loyal subjects, constructing defenses, and protecting your crown from the mysterious Greed, creatures that attack every night to steal your crown. Unlike previous entries in the series, Two Crowns introduces a full co-op mode, allowing two players to build and defend the same kingdom together, either locally or online. This addition greatly enhances the experience, making resource management and exploration even more enjoyable. The gameplay revolves around a surprisingly deep economy. Every coin matters, and you'll constantly decide whether to invest in new buildings, recruit villagers, expand your territory, or strengthen your defenses. While the controls are intentionally simple, mastering the game's strategy takes time. Each campaign features multiple islands with unique challenges, hidden secrets, mounts, hermits, and technologies to discover. The game also includes themed campaigns such as Shogun, Dead Lands, Norse Lands (DLC), and Call of Olympus (DLC), each introducing new mechanics, units, enemies, and visual styles. The pixel art is beautiful, accompanied by a relaxing soundtrack that creates a calm atmosphere during the day before intense nighttime battles begin. Despite its peaceful appearance, the game can be challenging, rewarding careful planning instead of rushing forward. Features: Solo and online/local co-op gameplay. Kingdom-building and resource management. Exploration across multiple islands. Tower defense and survival mechanics. Beautiful pixel art and atmospheric soundtrack. Unlockable mounts, hermits, technologies, and upgrades. Multiple themed campaigns with unique mechanics. Pros: Outstanding art style, relaxing yet challenging gameplay, excellent co-op mode, high replay value, rewarding strategy, and unique atmosphere. Cons: Minimal tutorials can make the early game confusing, progression relies on trial and error, combat is indirect rather than action-focused, and the slow pace may not appeal to every player. Kingdom Two Crowns is one of the best strategy and survival games in its genre. Its combination of kingdom management, exploration, and cooperative gameplay creates a relaxing yet addictive experience that rewards patience and smart planning. It's absolutely worth playing, especially with a friend.
