This and the first KCD are some of the best games I have ever played. This is how games should be made - with LOVE. Thanks for giving us something special.
Great game. The environment and style reminds me of a more grounded Elder Scrolls. Beautiful scenery. Traveling in this game feels like going on a nice walk during a sunny day. The characters and stories are charming and quirky. The game systems are both simple and rewarding. They start off feeling overwhelming at first. However as the game progresses they actually become very easy. If you're very interested in playing I would recommend buying Kingdom Come Deliverance I and playing that first. I think it really enhances your understanding and connection to the main character, Henry. It's also a great game in its own rights as long as you're okay with some awkward and/or missing character animations. If graphics issues are too hard for you then Kingdom Come Deliverance II might be a better starting point for you. Kingdome Come Deliverance II is very polished. Only complaint I can think of is that they reused character templates a bit too much, so sometimes I feel like I'm running into the same person. For both Kingdome Come Deliverance I&II if you feel you're decent player I recommend starting in Hardcore Mode. You can only pick this when you start the game. You can't change it later. It doesn't really change the difficulty as much as the name implies. Much of it is more about immersion. It disables fast travel, minimizes your game crosshair, and gets rid of your compass. For me it enhances the experience, making exploration and discovery more exciting and rewarding. It also brought me into the world more. It also nerfs your character slightly. I saw this as a benefit though because, as I said earlier, combat becomes easy fairly quickly when you get gear and level a little. This is true in hardcore too but less so. If you have limited time to play, don't do hardcore. If you think that you'll do multiple playthroughs, I suggest not grinding your stats, not exploring every corner, and not seeking out every single quest. Just do things as they naturally happen during the course of the main quest. This will give your Henry more character, as you'll be more limited with your resources and have to choose what to specialize in rather than be able to do anything. Not being able to do everything will mean that you'll start to see your Henry have personality during the missions. His dialogue will be more of a certain way and his actions will fit it more. Then when you play a second time you can see a whole new personality. If you think you'll only play once, feel free to explore everything so that you don't miss anything. It's a great game.
Хотел бы я стереть себе память, чтобы пройти это заново и вновь крикнуть от всей души: ~I FEEL QUITE HUNGRYY!~
10/10 if you don't mind doing nothing else for two weeks straight!
Great! Wish it was longer though...
Great but not perfect game, some things could be improved (I need to use a graphics mod so that icons/shields/coats of arms in the inventory are not blurry), some game mechanics are reworked/weakened compared to kcd1 (hunting and selling poached meat, selling loot in general). Game performance optimization is very good compared to current games (cryengine ♥). Combat is difficult, but you will get better at it with practice.
