Still need some new things. But the game promess... Reading the patch notes and future features I believe this will be a very good game.
Garbage and abandoned....
Promising but still very limited. As a die hard fan of the DF/Rimworld genre, I'm happy to support what will (hopefully!) become a great addition (hence the thumbs up). If you're similarly enthusiastic about supporting a project early, check it out. It has some new takes on 2D colony building. If you're looking for a more complete experience, I probably wouldn't recommend yet. At this point it's more like an extended demo than a game. Pros: - The room/zone mechanic is an interesting variation on familiar colony builders - Solid start on a detailed production tree including a lot of discrete components (for instance a barrel requires both wooden staves and metal hoops to construct) - Includes a water piping system and a DF-style mechanical power distribution system... although there's not much to do with either at this point. Cons: - Not much to do yet beyond building out your production tree. No real combat (beyond some iffy hunting interactions), no trade, nothing larger to build, no interaction with the outside world, no melee weapons, no armor, etc. I would assume a lot of this is coming later, but at present you can play through the content in a couple of hours. - Somewhat frustrating that items/structures can degrade through exposure to the elements but there's no way to see this until they disintegrate - No meaningful control over world gen parameters or site selection - Tutorial is useful, but could use an in-game reference Will definitely check back to see what this becomes!
