This is a neat port of Dwarf Fortress, however, i can't say i enjoyed the game play... The game is in way too early access, pretty stable, but sometimes, toons run idle in circles, even when there are tasks to do... Current state, not recommended, and defo TOO EXPENSIVE!
Definitely in alpha status as advertised, however the 15 hours I have played was literally the day I bought it. Comparisons to Rimworld can't be helped as the UI, animation, and game play are incredibly similar (although population counts are considerably higher making the loss of dwarves hit a little less keenly than pawns in Rimworld). Plenty of balance tweaks, QoL upgrades, and small bug fixes needed (not once did the game crash on me, but little things like resources that would not be gathered, crafting orders defaulting to my least common materials, buildings that would not be built, etc.) but none of it felt game breaking. Please support this project as looking at the roadmap I'm really excited for what comes next as the content gets fleshed out and the game gets polished! Plus it's already better than Hammerting... Amended: dev is super active on the Discord talking about the game, that in and of itself is enough to tell me that this game will be something that we want to play in time. Seriously, go support them.

Are you into chaos, confusion and despair? Then you've come to the right place. This game is one of the most difficult, yet absolutely adorable settlement management games I've ever played (and I've played a lot of those). You set out to colonize this beautiful mountain in front of you, ready to dig your way into it, and carve a mark into history. So far, so good. While the start seems easy enough, things soon will become dire. Rain and season changes will make your life miserable, empty water barrels and starving dorfs will lead to temper tantrums, and on top of that, there are MORE dorfs that want to join your already struggling settlement. But do not fret. It may take a couple of attempts, but you will soon learn to prepare for all the mischief that nature (and the dorfs!) have to offer. The graphics of this game are so adorably cute (THOSE BEARDS OMG), that you can't even be angry at the dorf supposed to fill the water barrel, but decides it's time to take a nap instead. The art style is a joy to look at, and there are so many details that I never get tired to just watch my little dorfs hustle around. The UI is intuitive once you got the hang of it, there is a Discord server with a very friendly community where you can ask all your questions, the developer is very responsive also. You have a Twitch integration that will let you name your dorfs after your viewers, or manually renaming them is also possible. If you heard "But this is like Rimworld!" - No it's not. It may look familiar, but it will have different threats and different stories. You are not supposed to save your game either. It's a feature. While that may sound harsh - it might be if you've managed to get a big settlement going - it's all a learning experience. You literally learn it the hard way. And this is what makes it so challenging and fun for me. I don't think I've been enjoying death and despair this much in a game so far, and there will be a lot more content in the future as well. I recommend it 10/10.
Great Game With A solid foundation the solo Developer is Very Active on discord and has helped me personally with some launch issues i was having (and put out a fix in real time) i cant wait to see where this game is going and going to end up !

Game is only in it's starting stage but the potential is there, concept is great, gameplay is okay so far. Some bugs here and there. The game Definitely have amazing potential, there is so much this game can achieve and I am excited to see it grow!
