King of the Bridge

Im not a chess player but dam this was a fun game. I like that you dont need to know really anything about chess inorder to play it and in some ways if you didnt know how chess plays it might help you here. I really enjoyed reaveiling the rules over time and learningm ore about the game. Great small game

I Like Chess Now Apparently

While the concept sounds interesting, unfortunately it devolves into tedium and gets boring fast. The only way to discover rules is through brute force, as the rules are hidden to you until you have "cheated." This makes the game less about strategy within the troll's unorthodox rules, and more about forcing your way into a victory. And once you have beaten the troll once or twice, it feels as if you have done everything there is to do. Even being an achievement hunter I don't feel like doing every little thing to do in the game, as you find yourself in a position where the core concept is too unfun to deal with for it to have any replay value. I think the systems here needed polish that considered the player experience more, rather than just executing the concept at face value.

Awesome game, to cheat or not to cheat?

Fantastic game from start to finish. I had watched chess youtubers play this game over a year ago so it was nice to finally have the chance to try it out. Grinding all the achievements was extremely fun as well. Good job on this game, super entertaining!
