game is good, im only missing like 5 achievements after 2 hours (skill diff for the ppl saying it took them 3 hours to win once lmfao)
good
after 3.5 hours i got all endings. Time to 100% it. Also W game worth the price
Such a cool game but i not good enough to beat the DEVIL disguised as a troll.
Endlessly fun and 1000% worth the price tag. My biggest critique is the lack of music, and I would like a bit more unique sound design as a whole for special events. They do this well with the Castle; as such, the sound design that is there is superb. All of the rules that could possibly be relevant are in the rulebook, so even if you haven't played chess before, you should be set up to succeed (it might even be easier). I will be trying to add some of the quirky rulebook vernacular while playing standard chess. Great game.
Very funny, I like that the pawn is small minded.
Really cool game to learn and master. Be careful, troll chess is NOT for the weak.
While the concept sounds interesting, unfortunately it devolves into tedium and gets boring fast. The only way to discover rules is through brute force, as the rules are hidden to you until you have "cheated." This makes the game less about strategy within the troll's unorthodox rules, and more about forcing your way into a victory. And once you have beaten the troll once or twice, it feels as if you have done everything there is to do. Even being an achievement hunter I don't feel like doing every little thing to do in the game, as you find yourself in a position where the core concept is too unfun to deal with for it to have any replay value. I think the systems here needed polish that considered the player experience more, rather than just executing the concept at face value.
