Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.44/day in the week to Aug 4 → 0.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

gut
So I'm teetering on the edge between recommend and not recommend on this one. Mostly because the game *is* fun to play at the end of the day and I am enjoying it. Please understand that thus far I have not played the campaign (only the single store) and I've only run a clothing store. That being said I have a list of issues with this game that either impact the game play or things that make the game feel distinctly unfinished. I am so confused as to how there is a sequel to this game when the first game was clearly never finished. For instance. You can "decorate" your store in the sense that you can change the floor, walls, and ceiling.... but that's it. No manniquins, carts, large stuffed toys, card board cut outs, wall art, plants, rugs. Nothing. Your store is nothing but racks and maybe a few promotional signage. That's it. Nothing else. It makes it incredibly boring to look at your story after a while. There's no dressing rooms and you'd think that would be something you could get for customers to be more likely to buy something. But nope. There's an underwear section for womens clothes, but not for men. There's no clothes that aren't "hang up things". Like there's no socks, no accessories, no purses, no backpacks, glasses, watches. Nothing like that. If you run a clothing store it's JUST clothing and even then not a lot. Like there's a long list of clothes.... but there's really not because each piece of clothing has like 5 variations and most of the list is variations. There's also nothing to decorate a break room with. Only tables, a computer that you use for literally one task (posting ads on forums?), and a coffee pot. That's all. Nothing else. The game tries to boast a complex system of selling things but it just does not have that. At all. Pay attention to what kind of people you are selling to? Never have. Pay attention to how much items cost compared to what certain demographics are willing to spend? Never have. Try to have a target audience? Never have. I am currently making 40k a day easy without every following any of that. There's a system that tracks specifics like that but it really doesn't tell you much. Also the only real determinations on if people buy things is quality, necessity, and fashionability. Something that is shown on little graphs on an item when you are buying stock. But nothing on the purchasing page reminds you what all the colors mean. You have to be in your office, at the end of the day, and look at a board, to get reminders. There's a shoplifting mechanic... that you can't turn off and that is... quite frustrating. Mostly because you will easily spend more money on a security guard than you will save by having one. At the same time it's practically impossible to be security yourself because there's so much stuff you have to do even when you have employees. Employees also seem, on the surface, like there's some depth. You have to "interview" and you can negotiate salary and renegotiate it. Employees apply for jobs and you can read them and then invite them to be interviewed and get details on what they are good at. But there doesn't seem to be a way to post jobs. Which is a problem when you are CONSTANTLY getting people who are REALLY good at stocking or security.... but get NO applicants that are good at cashiering. You can set up by hour what someone does, schedule breaks, days off. Employees can get sick and need extra days off. But then you have people's productivity plummet and the game does not tell you how to fix this. There is a mechanic for basically hitting customers with a sales pitch. They will literally ask for your help and you convince them to buy. I played the tutorial thing for it and it makes no damn sense. I got an employee to handle sales as fast as possible because that mini game makes zero sense and any time I got it to work was entirely on accident. The tutorial is another thing. It's put in the game as a course your character goes to. Which sounds neat and at first it was. But then I got in the game and needed reminders on how to do things.... and I couldn't get them... because there is no way to look at a tutorial or refresh yourself IN THE GAME. You have to close out of your store entirely and go to the main menu to look at a tutorial again. Which is a problem.... because you can only save the game within your office at the end of a day. So if you are in the middle of the day trying to do something and don't remember how to do it... you either have to waste the day and go back to the menu. Or wait till the end of an in game day to go look. The variety of things you can sell is also limited. It's basically clothes, electronics, or groceries. No toy stores, furniture stores, gardening, hardware, nothing. You have those 3 categories and that is it. I went back to the page hoping maybe there was some dlc or something that gave me a bit more to work with... but nope. And then as far as I can tell from the menus it seems like stuff like electronics literally only has phones or computers. Because sure... those are the only two electronics in existence and no electronic store ever sells more than those two things. Small problem but a problem none the less and frankly one of the things that makes this game feel the most unfinished. The damn audio settings don't work! I turned the master volume to zero.... and still heard noises. I had to go back into the volume and turn down individual things. Then when I closed out of the game and started it back up later... all of my volume settings had restarted. The game is fun and the depth it DOES have is interesting. This could have been a very good game. Right now it's just kind of lukewarm and it seems like the dev just doesn't care about this game. Honestly I probably would have stopped playing and returned it if I hadn't gotten the code of of fanatical and so can't return it. Luckily I only spent a few bucks on it but definitely don't spend full price on this game. 100% not worth $26 in it's current state. Personally i dont like how you have to interact with the customer before they enter the store and try to convince them to buy stuff, i feel like it would be better if they came in automatically and shopped themselves, But the only positive thing i can say about it is.. i like how you can "help" the customers when they call you over
