Kinetic Canvas

Very relaxing, calming, beautiful, and with good music. Works really well on Steam Deck. I’m always diving in for a few minutes here and there.

A beautiful relaxing toy. Great for people who like to doodle with the mouse--I plan to return to it often in small doses. I would love to see a screensaver-like mode where it draws random lines/curves/shapes.

I keep pulling this up just to noodle for a few minutes and I can almost feel my brain unwinding. I usually intend to play for a couple of minutes and ten later feel very chill and much better. Little else needed, especially for the price of entry.

It's nice, not a game, of course, but soothing. Not really an art app, you can't really draw anything, you don't have nearly the amount of control an art app would have, but I don't think that was the intent. There are a fee sliders, and I like turning off mirror mode for more control, and it's all really pretty. I really enjoyed keeping the mouse in one place and holding the mouse button down, that created some nice patterns. Got it sale, but even full price wouldn't be unfair as long as you know what you are getting. One thumb up.
