The main issue that coloured this review red is that the dev want to incentivize comp variety. Which by itself is not a bad idea. But they punish you for not doing it (your character's max health reduces each consecutive battle) instead of rewarding you for doing it. Game is constantly nagging you to swap out your comps, which isn't very fun to deal with. Also the game lack depths, the items become samey after a chapter or two. And that is the only progression you are going to get. No skill tree, no crafting, no resource management, no nothing. The only interaction you will have with the game is dragging the applicable pieces of equipments onto their owners. That is fine if each run is shorter, but I am about 2 hours in and I still haven't seen the end yet. If you going to make player grow attached to their run with such lengthy campaign, you really need to offer much more depth than this.
Very cool and BEAUTIFUL auto-battler RPG with a great, ANIMATED story! :) Need to play this more soon, and I will, but the small amount I have played was great! Features a detailed story, interesting gear decisions to make on each character you choose, which out of a BUNDLE of possible recruits, over time, you can really nail down a cool, unique and combat-interesting party! The auto-battling *does* include some nice player input as well! Click here and there, strategically plan and get swept away for the fun ride! Thank you to the devs for this little overlooked (imo) gem! Cheers!
I love the game it is fully accessible to the visually impaired and has great replay value, the overall experience is great and the devs respond fast to feedback.
I'm afraid this game has a pretty face, but there is no soul inside. There is some tactical depth, but hardly qualifies for a $5 game.
Great game, I really enjoyed it. The gameplay is simple, but quite addicting as well. The writing is a bit quirky, but it really fits the game, and seems to be deliberate. The soundtrack and sound design in general is also pretty enjoyable. Finaly, I wouldn't be able to play this game, if not for the awesome team of developers, and their desire to make their games accessible for the blind and vissually impared. It really means a lot to us. Thank you.
Lots of fun so far. I love the art, music and the amount of control I have is about what I want in an autobattler. I’ve played it on pc and via steam link on my iPad and both are great. It's clearly labeled as an autobattler so anyone expecting more strategy than hero placement and equipment has expectations that are too high. That is a very simplified summation of the game's strategy but its actually a bit deeper than that. I have no complaints thus far besides wanting achievements.
A tactically interesting game without a lot of content or difficulty. There are some good mechanics here that are fun to explore. However, after 6 hours, I'm starting to think I will have tried every option the game gives me by the time I reach 10 hours. More tuning on the balance is needed and the game could really use a few more mechanics. Other strong points of the game: -The devs seem to be active and genuinely nice people. -Pretty okay soundtrack -Cute pixel graphics -A half interesting plot
This game is really available for screen readers! Thank you for this, developer! I liked the game, and a very interesting story! Yes, perhaps for someone such a plot may not seem very active, but everything is thought out, and it will be interesting to play this game to cheer up and just immerse yourself in the story! Unfortunately, I have to report on some, in my opinion, not very good features of the game. I think the save game feature is needed! Yes, after the player failed and lost to the boss, he still has some progress, but that's not it! And if you want to close the game, you never know what difficulties you have? I think the save function is needed! And yes, to load the game if I restarted it! At the same time, you can make sure that the save is not available if you have not defeated at least one boss! Here is my opinion about the game!
Amazing replayability. Works with screenreaders, just press control alt A on the title screen to activate. You can also set it to activate every time you launch the game if you wish. Fun characters along with an amazing roguelike experience and an amazing soundtrack. The game is just amazing.
