I miraculously found a match to play 4 days before my video submission was due. My plan was to start off the video trying to play this game, and then switch to KF2 when I inadvertently failed to find a match. I had been trying for WEEKS off and on. It would have made for a great video. Anyway, here is 30 minutes of me playing the game. Not to be considered a review by any stretch, but if you like what you see maybe it can help get you closer to making a decision. I recommend against purchasing, but probably for all the wrong reasons lol Steam Curator: store.steampowered.com/curator/36307721-Healthy-Criticism/ https://youtu.be/_x47pH-dqSk **Disclaimer: I think the lack of sleep raising a 4 month old baby is really starting to hit me. I got this game for free from the publisher. I, apparently, struggled to remember this while making the video and instead thought I got it from Humble Bundle. I did not.
Worst game ever, cannot setup a party with a friend properly, why couldn't the devs just Remaster killing floor 2!!!!! Waste of money!!! I do not recommend this game at all !!!!
If they improve the optimization and add more content: maps, weapons, abilities. It would definitely be the best Killing Floor (having played the previous ones)
It's just not there yet - just a handful of maps, very little variety in weapons (though you can upgrade them with attachments. Performance is also bad - even with upscaling, there are a LOT of stutters, and overall poor performance compared to many other games using the UE5 engine, and even worse compared to other horde shooters (KF2, B4B, WWZ, BO3, ...). Give it a year or two, and it might be worthwhile - even just having smooth gameplay without stutters and acceptable FPS would suffice to make this a better experience.
I really enjoyed the aesthetic, gun feel and mobility and general vibe. Got hyped to spend some time in this world. Didn't care it was different from KF2, actually enjoyed the fresh air. Unfortunately, in my 30 minutes playing the game crashed 5 times. What a shame. :(
its fun :D
Really bad game, just buy kf2 or even left for dead. Reasons include: • Game has lag spikes randomly yet my PC is solid specs wise. • Balance is absurd! Ever since the stalker was added the game feels horrible from way to tanky enemies to crawlers dealing nearly 50 DAMAGE on HARD when you lose your armor. • Guns are way to weak, 100 damage is somehow making me mag dump all my ammo into scrakes as they spawn like 4 of them for fun. • Infrequent updates, months between content is extremely rough.
100% POS game!
