Há jogos que divertem. Há jogos que desafiam. E há jogos que mudam a forma como enxergamos o mundo. Para mim, Kerbal Space Program foi exatamente isso. Poucos jogos conseguem ensinar sem parecer que estão ensinando. KSP despertou minha curiosidade sobre física, astronomia, engenharia e exploração espacial de um jeito que nenhuma aula conseguiu. Cada erro era uma lição. Cada sucesso era conquistado com planejamento, tentativa e persistência. É um jogo que recompensa a criatividade e faz você sentir que realmente conquistou cada marco. É impossível não sentir um aperto no coração ao lembrar de tudo o que aconteceu com Kerbal Space Program 2. Havia um enorme sonho de ver essa franquia evoluir ainda mais, e infelizmente as coisas tomaram um rumo que ninguém queria. Mas, apesar de tudo, ainda temos esta obra-prima. Kerbal Space Program 1 continua sendo um daqueles jogos raros que permanecem relevantes mesmo depois de tantos anos. Graças à comunidade, aos mods e, principalmente, ao carinho colocado em sua criação, ele continua vivo e capaz de proporcionar experiências inesquecíveis para veteranos e novos jogadores. Obrigado, KSP, por todas as explosões, por todas as risadas, por toda a frustração transformada em aprendizado e por me lembrar, tantos anos depois, por que me apaixonei por você. Fly safe.
