Just like it was in the 80's but with some small but effective QoL improvements and without sacrificing the spirit of the original game. Well worth the purchase.
Getting all 52 achievements was fun though HK Prime Time was very tough. Saved a GS17 level and would load it back until I could get it. In the old PC version you could load such a game and play any map on Prime Time. The old Atari or Commodore colors are cool to pick from, though playing Chicago with Atari colors is nearly impossible with a quarter of the screen on the right is blacked out by lake michigan. Had a lot of fun, Glad it is resizeable, for full screen loses the bottom row on my system. Seeing career info on loading in a save is interesting too. EDIT: Full screen issue fixed with the latest patch.

This game is really something good and unique. If it's not clear from the description, it is a slight RTS air traffic control game. But the difficulty starts gentle, from the late graveyard shift up to the holiday rush panic shift. I played it all with keyboard, and the shortcut keys are easy to remember. Changing the graphics to the Atari palette is easiest to read imo. It is a good game, oh yes and the glorious synthetic voices are here too!
This is great....I loved this game as a kid and it is still much fun. Thanks for recreating it. It is a very faithful recreation. I love the little extras, like showing the route by each plane....and highlighting the intended route before you commit. Just a suggestion....if you could add a way to change time that would be awesome. For years I played on a Commodore Emulator and I would play on double speed as a challenge. It's fun once you get really good at it. Another little suggestion for an extra, if when you select a plane, it could show a little dashed ellipse around it that depicts its "conflict range" that would be super nice. Cheers and thanks again! ps. As I play I think of other neat items that could be added. I love how you added color to the top when the planes are on the right course but wrong elevation (yellow)....or on the right course and the correct elevation (green). Just a little suggestion would be to also add that color to the plane's letter itself in the play screen. This would make it super simple to notice places that aren't at the correct elevation.
Really enjoying playing Kennedy Approach on Steam. I've played the OG quite a bit on the C64 (and have a shrink wrapped box of it on the shelf in my office) and this seems a flawless remake as far as I can tell. It's like updated "just enough" without tampering with what made it great to begin with. Very well done.
Love it :-)
NEGATIVE REVIEW... It has happened so many times now. On higher levels I am pumping out commands quite regularly to complete the level. The issue is that when the level completes you have an option to "save career" however as I am usually in the middle of issuing a command this menu inadvertently disappears and then there does not seem to be any other option to "save career" which really pisses me off because I have to do the same level all over again to save progress. Yeah, I am really quite pissed about this. ORIGINAL POSITIVE REVIEW... Loved this game when I was a kid. Love this game 40ish? years later. Take my money already!
A fabulous remake of this MicroProse classic - well done and thank you!
OG game that can give you a test every time even after playing for a long time. Simple but fun and challenging.
