Kellan Graves: Fallen

After playing this game, I wanted more! The combat is simple, the enemies need some work as they are not really fast or that deadly, there were a few that just spawned right in front of you which was kind of annoying... but the atmosphere was amazing, the different spider enemies were fun, along with the humanoid creatures that come near the end of this chapter. While simple, as I stated before, the tight corridors that you travel through along with the enemies that you run into make this title an easy recommendation for me. I did receive a code to play this game, but by no means am I required to say anything good about the game. That being said, I had fun and am looking forward to the next chapter coming this January! One question though, what was the point of the dog, LMAO? The puzzles are challenging and the Story will peak your curiosity about what really happened. I recommend you guys play and venture to the story of Kellan Graves: Fallen

A short 2 hour scifi fps journey, where the storytelling takes a backseat, and the scariest thing is the tapping of the companion doggos footsteps. Why is it there if you can't even pet it? :c All in all even with the small gameplay bugs, somewhat confusing story, and unpettable dog, I recommend trying the game out. It has some good elements behind it, and for some it is for sure eerie, maybe even scary, especially if you have arachnophobia. Now investigate what happened!

This Review Is Not just of the game itself, But of the Dev Behind the game. While Fighting bugs (spiders) in the game, You do not have to fight technical bugs with the computer. This Dev has been on top of any bug reports or suggestions since day one of being on steam. The type of dev that is dedicated to their Games (baby). As for the game... Come Join This sci-fi / Horror / Adventure as you are trapped in a cave, escaping Huge Spiders and other creatures while dealing with a "Mad Man" on an intercom. Enjoyed the game play and started to turn it into a speed run with these jump scares along the way. Come join this story where you will be wanting more, 2 special abilities, a gun , and a dog as you go to survive this adventure. Oh! And the dog does Tricks!!!!! Only cons I ran into were though a short game, 2 hours, there is only a resume and not a save game. So if you accidently press start game you lose everything. Just watch what you do when coming back to resume a game. (not a big issue but something to watch) Other one is no settings menu while playing the game only in the main menu for if need to lower graphics settings or change anything else. Though most graphics issues have been resolved. Over all I give this a 8 out 10 and it has more coming!

The game definitely has a great atmosphere. There are still a few things to improve, but it has a lot of potential. I highly recommend it.

Great game with solid progress since early access. It’s fun, tense, and has a few jumpscares that really catch you off guard. Even with a simple story, the survival aspect is engaging and keeps you coming back for more.

Awful

I have no idea what happened… but I had fun. Kellan Graves: Fallen is a trashy sci-fi FPS survival horror game in the best possible way. For just a few bucks, you get pure chaos, confusion, and a surprisingly fun time. If you go in expecting polished AAA quality, this probably isn’t for you. But if you’re ready for different levels, some puzzles, glitchy enemies, and constant WTF moments, there’s a lot of fun to be had here. Yes, it has its issues. And yes, the story completely lost me. But it’s playable, entertaining, and according to the dev roadmap it’s still receiving updates. Also… the dog was the scariest thing in the whole game xD You can’t pet him, he does random flips, and just chases you around barking like pure nightmare fuel. For me as an indie horror fan, this is an absolute hidden gem. That said, it definitely won’t match everyone’s expectations, so I’d recommend checking out some gameplay first. It’s a very simple game that creates more questions than answers — and somehow that’s part of the charm ^^

A well-made game with no major bugs. The atmosphere and story are great, music is great, graphics are great — and the dog is a big plus! :D Would love to see a bit more variety in the attacking monsters, that’s my only suggestion.
