KATANA KAMI: A Way of the Samurai Story

What a disappointment this turned out to be. This is a cheaply put-together roguelite with repetitive gameplay and a barebones story which wears thin pretty fast. It's a cash grab for a desperate studio, essentially. Instead of going all in and making Way of the Samurai 5 they made this lmao, missing out on a huge market of those wanting samurai games. Not smart! Actually, I saw something pretty incredulous that I couldn't believe my eyes: they were really running a sale where they were actually asking more money for this than the other Way of the Samurai titles. I'm speechless. This abomination is vastly inferior to them in every way. So here's what you should do: Instead of wasting money on this garbage, save your hard-earned money and buy Way of the Samurai 3 and 4. You'll have way more fun with that since they're actual open world sandbox games where choices actually matter (unlike what other franchises claim), and your decisions ricochet throughout the rest of the playthrough thanks to the persistent save mechanic.
