Kaodi

Es un juego corto pero con un alto contenido moral, quién gana en una guerra? en este juego se ve que en un conflicto armado todas las partes pierden... Me recuerdo mucho a esos shorts bien producidos de YT, en los que equipos pequeños son capaces de contar una buena historia en un tiempo reducido. A mí me ha gustado. Recibí la clave para crear contenido y hacer un análisis, sin ninguna compensación económica ni material.

Wonderful and beautiful narrative game !

Petit jeu d'action-plateformes narratifs qui cherche à parler des conséquences de la guerre sur un soldat. Le jeu est plutôt joli et donne de bonnes sensations, mais si l'ambiance est bel est bien lourde, l'écriture m'a semblé un peu lourde aussi. Le jeu est court, et se termine sans réelle conclusion, c'est un peu frustrant. Ca reste 1h intéressante à passer et l'aspect esthétique t gameplay est cool.

The most valuable aspect of Kaodi is the way it makes you reflect. It places you face to face with the contradictions of being a warrior: fulfilling imposed expectations. It is an intense experience with great emotional weight, standing out for its masterful art and powerful message. A reminder that war never truly ends on the battlefield, but lingers in the lives, memories, and silences of those who survived it.

Interesting game. Cool pixel graphics. Character moves very smooth, the jump and dash mechanics both feel good. The combat also is fun, but there is not a lot of it at all. Same enemies with the same move sets, no bosses. It is basically a short story with light platforming and light combat. I would really like to see what these devs could do if they fleshed out a complete game, full world, more in-depth combat, etc. For what it is, it is a good, albeit very short, game.

Una experiencia muy breve que te deja con ganas de una historia más larga. Arte por todos los lados.

A small 30 minutes story game that could inspire a larger one. Music is great. Visual and artistic quality is very high, perhaps even higher than necessary for such a short game but it helps making it a more worthy experience nonetheless. You can tell the developers are really passionate. They really wanted to tell the story with a strong anti-war message but maybe the scope of the story is a bit too grand for such litte playtime.

Kaodi es una aventura narrativa que hablar sobre la guerra desde un punto de vista diferente a cualquier cosa que haya jugado antes. El apartado visual es P-R-E-C-I-O-S-O, los controles responden bien y puede completarse en una horita que cierra un viaje que deja marca. Sin duda, la senda del retorno de Barren merece ser recorrida

Great indie game with an awesome visual style, emotionally impactful storytelling and cool "Inner-World" mechanic that I enjoyed. The only thing I would say is that it isn't long enough, which I guess is a nice problem to have :)
