Kalinur

Kalinur é um metroidvania “ok”. Ele não traz nada de novo, simplesmente segue a fórmula clássica de Super Metroid e Symphony of the Night, e, honestamente, isso não é necessariamente ruim. O jogo entrega uma experiência funcional, com exploração, upgrades e mapas interconectados, mas sem grandes inovações ou momentos memoráveis. O início do jogo pode ser frustrante. A dificuldade em algumas áreas parece desnecessária, especialmente considerando que não há itens de cura e só é possível salvar em save points espalhados pelo mapa. Além disso, os frames de invencibilidade são bem curtos, tornando o dano recebido ao encostar nos inimigos bastante punitivo. Esses fatores podem afastar jogadores que não gostam de morrer repetidamente ou de desafios muito precisos. Apesar dessas falhas, Kalinur cumpre o papel de passatempo e pode entreter por algumas horas, principalmente pelo preço acessível.

This game was fun! (for the price) It is dead simple. There are basically no secrets, and nothing out of the ordinary in this game at all. It's almost as if it was intended to be as generic as possible. But sometimes that's not such a bad thing. After playing through Prince of Persia Lost Crown, an ultra simple and incredibly easy Metroidvania was kind of welcome. I also liked that the attack happens instantly and as fast as you can press the button. This made it fun to play with an autofire controller. The game really does feel like you're back in the NES days. Anyway, I do recommend it - if it sounds like something you're into. If you want a big meaty game to occupy you for many hours, this will not deliver on that. But it's fun if you are in the mood to beat a fast and easy game.

Fun, short game. It took less than five hours for me to complete. My only beef was that the hit boxes for the enemies to hit me was very generous, especially compared to the other way around.

a nice short metroidvania and as a warrior you ingonre the 'warning' of a mage and endup savinga kingdom and thus get a nice reward at the end too

A quick 3+ hour metroidvania. The pricing was proper and really, nothing wrong with the game. I wish there were more games like this: Just buy it for a price of a candy bar and enjoy it for an evening. Great job from the developers!
